Well, the annual excursion is less than 4 days away. We have 3 members who will be wearing the TTP banner. It will start with a quick stop at the Great Canadian Casino in Nanaimo. We are allowed one roll and hopefully it will be a profitable one, which will cover the beverages for the weekend. I must admit that I am little worried about this trip because I am going to have to be babysitting DITH AND One Dart. I'm sure things will be fine though.......

Hopefully it will be more profitable than last night's adventure to the casino. I believe all three of us took a little hit to the bank account. Parkhead/Captain & Power.

Well the trip is coming upon the posse and this year is as anticipated as much as any other posse excursion.

As far as babysitting OD and myself Captain, need I remind you of what it taste like to eat flowers and dirt or dance until five in the morning ????

DITH has been making the adjustment to prime for the trip. Homework has commenced for the arrival at both Sgts and the Royal Coachmen.

I have my toonies all ready to place by show bets so i can make 35 cents each race.

100 races will profit me thirty five bones excluding pints.

Captain how is the bug exterminator hunt going, we need to sit down on teusday so we can get the wardrobe issues sorted out.

p.s. snuggles will not be present on this trip.

Hopefully!!!!

Perhaps we can bring a ball and bat?

The trip is quickly approaching and if the cd that the Captain has created for it is a sign of things to come, it will be magical.

Oh it's a grand old team to play for.....followed by a little Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass. Tre-men-dous.

CD,

The ball and the bat will not be going to CR unless of course you are giving the Captain an extra week to practice. He doesn't seem to think the practice would be neccessary though! When is the Bean Ball incident going to happen?

Finally......

One Dart,

Remember, I want a certified umpire and a first aid kit handy if you choose to bean me. I am not letting one of your teammates call strikes on me, when they are all going to be balls. If you don't throw strikes, the Captain will not be swinging the bad. Put the ball over the plate and I will make contact. Simple really....

As for the bug outfit, I have had no luck yet, DITH. Also, do you know anyone who works at a hospital and could get us some doctor's outfits. Very casual, comfortable, and economical. What do you think?

69 hours

There is only 69 ;) hours until the posse is launched onto the island.

Captain the doctor's suit is a good idea but they are hard to get and even more expensive to add to the posse collection permantly.

I have a couple hours here to run around and fetch some ideas so i will get back to you in a few.

Song list looks brilliant. Up to certified posse standards!

I have made a couple of disks for this weekend but knowing you I probably won't get to play them.

Army "muckers" only begins to scratch the surface of what the posse is all about.

Well gents, enjoy the trip. Captain, I would take a copy of the cd if you've got an extra; hope the long awaited burner is working out for you.

Remember, I want a certified umpire and a first aid kit handy if you choose to bean me.

I am a certified umpire and have a first-aid kit in my car. Recently certified for CPR. Will work for pints.

OD, as you embark upon your first school trip, I wish you well, and urge you to remember a couple few things.

1. The Union, God love it, doesn't protect you. Captain will be provided with bail from Chico's Bail Bonds and a heli-jet ride back to the mainland out of my $200 a month; you will rot in Campbell River's overcrowded detention cell.

2. Palm tree and big truck. Two drink related incidents in two weeks. Let's stop the streak, shall we?

Captain, keep an eye on him. Our mom thinks highly of you and is hopeful that OD will be able to get a job and leave home one day.

Bon voyage

I will look after him, Scud. Promise. I will not let them leave my wing, left or right. Thanks for the umping offer. I might take you up on that. That's UMPING , nothing else.

Thanks for the burner. I will bring it to darts tomorrow night, assuming you are going to be there. I burned 4 CD's and will burn one more tonight. I will burn a copy of the Campbell River CD over the next week. It's all about angles, all about angles..

Overall, a successful weekend in terms of soccer. We won the tournament for the first time and fully deserved to.

South Delta 9 Timberline 0
South Delta 3 Ladysmith 1
South Delta 1 Carihi 1 (3 - 1 penalties)
South Delta 1 Terry Fox 1 (5 - 4 penalties)

Despite the two ties, we played very well and did deserve to win the games.

The social part had mixed results, which have now led to the Captain's yearly trip on the Wagon. This will be a long one too. Trust me.

We started off with the annual stop at the Nanaimo Great Canadian Casino. We put down $110 on ONE roll. The result was a profit of $90. We cashed in $200 and had a few more chips left, so we threw them on the table for roll number 2. Number 17 came up and were another $105 to the good.

"Cash out, please!" So we left the casino $195 to the good, which would certainly help pay for most of our beverages and food.

We arrived at our hotel at about 5:45 and played a few card games  We went for dinner at about 8:30 to Moxies and had a good time. After that, back to hotel before heading out to the Voodoo Lounge. It was uneventful but we finished the night with a few tunes until about 4:00.

The next night included a trip to the Royal Coachman to watch a few horses run. Of course, the one's I chose decided not to run, consequently putting a $200 hole in my pocket. Shoc-king. Another trip to the Voodoo Lounge was in order and it was certainly more entertaining. For some reason, I started trying a few double greyhounds. This didn't help me at all. We stopped and had some pizza, ate a few plants, and that is all I'm going to say about the evening. One Dart missed the Voodoo Lounge, which was probably a good thing in the long run.

Unfortunately, I didn't meet up with Gilly, which was probably my fault for forgetting where he was staying. I hope you had a good time anyway, Gilly. How did your games go?

Not a bad idea at all Captain. I was thinking along the same lines, likely won't happen though. The girls played, by far, the best soccer of the tournament and managed to win when they could have easily quit.

and that is all I'm going to say about the evening.

Also a magical idea Captain. You did forget to mention the 7:15 wake up call for the third floor though. We shall not, we shall not be moved....

Yes, the wake-up call. I'm sure the team appreciated that. I guess that is why we won the tournament.

As for the hiatus, it is going to last a long time. I am actually going to be playing the South Park Open this year completely sober. Sure, it might be considered cheating but after looking at my results in both states, it really is a disadvantage.
