I like the new divisions - It's a change.
Pumped for this to get started!
Not quite understanding the BC government position in not approving yet the plan for the Canucks thought - WTF? Even though we can't go to games, it would suck if they had to play outta some other Province![]()
I watched interviews with Doug Ford of Ontario and Dix of B.C. and both are non-committal. Not sure what Quebec thinks, but Alberta is okay with the NHL proposal. Maybe we should all move to Alberta, only place where we can go to a casino and gamble away our savings after a hockey game.Agree.
Hope they can set up rotating hub cities. The East should have to travel and spend two weeks here, and vise-versa. I think there is a way they can do this, just need to be creative and absolutely vigilant w/ testing. 2 teams show here for 1.5 weeks, play a few, take a week to practice, next hub. Try to make the away time as much as a regular season, but with the safety of the HUB environments.
Crazy?
I read about it elsewhere...I saw the story that he and the Sharks were getting sued by a bank but didn’t put 2 & 2 together. Mostly because that’s really tough math for me.
why the hell would a team get involved in a players finances like that?
I guess it’s much like the go cement garnishing your wages to pay off your taxes.
still not as crazy as Jack Johnson’s parents ripping him off into bankruptcy though
