I had heard 10 years with a cap hit of $5.5M, very front-loaded deal. I like it because he'll be good for years, can retire and we lose the cap hit, and it allows us to have way more flexibility.

Calgary has a deal worked out with Rangers...'Joke'in for Higgins and Kotalik...

Should be finalized this week...apparently the deal was done but couldn't be completed because Suter didn't know if the ex leafs would make the game tonight....

Hmmm wonder if this will get completed??? makes sense as Tort's told Kotalik he isn't playing another game for the Rangers

bad trade... great for the Rangers, in that Jokinen can be a player...

Makes no sense to me for the Flans though, although I'm loving it... Kotalik is a waste of time and Higgins is potentially the most lazy player in the NHL...
