Oh, I know it is random, but how does two teams from Div 3C get byes!? IMHO only D2 teams should get byes, especially when the byes are from 3C, that poor division doesn't get many games as it is.

Here's my picks, like JBN, don't know too much about the teams either. The bye system is kind of retarded too, why not give it to the top 2 teams in each D2 group? Not to be cocky but it's a waste to have us demolish a bottom table D3 team. 2B to win all their games

Looks like a tough battle right off the hop for us Nomads. Nothing like a good challenge to get us going.

The top Match of the first round has to be the LUFC Nomads vs PCNC United. easily could be the final really. My second choice for match of the first round would be Wolves vs Westcoast. that game could get ugly if Wolves start runnign the score up on them. plus We will see how good westcoast really is. Whalley vs Bradner is a tail of teams going in different directions. Brander Redshirts are legends in the FVSL, well there Dads team are Legends just look in the archives. The Redshirts played Div2 a few years ago and where not that bad a team. but the last couple seasons have seen them drop to Div3 mid table status. Whalley are a young up and coming team that are fast and skilled. And might end up in Div1 next season. this year they have to one of the favourites to win the cup. some other games I found interesting are two of my fellow club teams GEU Titans vs the Wheelhouse caps two teams that play tough and get stuck in. The Titans are good defensively and will need there top striker to play a great game if they want to win. Wheelhouse play six at the back or so it seems they to have a good defensive team so this will be a tight one probably a one goal game. Also the GEU Pumas are having a better season then most would have guessed they should win this game but the Magpies are playing better as of late. anyway good luck and we'll see you in round two.

I hope we get them in Langley too... Usually in Footy the team listed first is home, but you never know do you? Probably has a lot to do with which teams have home allocations for the week of cup play too.

Yeh, that would have made sense......a little something extra for teams to strive for to start the year, get the points and get the bye. But sometimes the BYE week can work against you ...BC Lions "cough cough"
