Wow indeed. That is an incredible run in any league.

But the other thing that jumps out in your post is the fact they only have 2 games to go...2 meaningless games to go and we are in frigging early January?! Yes, I know there is the Pak Cup but are those games even meaningful when Poco is taking every team in their league to the woodshed? May as well get the t-shirts and hats printed now. Make it an XXXXL shirt for Cloughie and tell him not to put it in the dryer.

Hopefully TA is taking the team on a 10 week tour of Europe to stay sharp for Prov Cup.

Reedie, always enjoy when the head coach of the reigning Provincial Cup champs comes over and posts in the FVSL premier threads. Shows your thinking about us or wanting to take a jab at Cloughie. Either way it's enjoyable. It's true its tough to get up for games and the competition isn't the greatest but we are taking each game seriously and playing good football every week. We actually just set up a home and away exhibition series with Bellingham United of the PCSL team for the Easter weekend. The competition should be equal to that of a team in the Provincial Cup. We couldn't afford Europe as we are still on the hook for Harmes contract for two more years. Call it the Messier Clause.

We have all sorts of ways to raise money:

1) weekly dunk tank with Cloughie (very popular)
2) meet and greets with former caps players at the poco legion
3) bully Metro Ford players for there lunch money
4) 25% ownership of San Antonio Scorpions (acquired in Harmse deal)
5) Gomes brothers have a watch stand at gates park, and the club gets a cut ( this is a fact )
6) Minority stake along with Captain Shamrock in a casino in the Phillipines
7) kobiyashi vs cloughie hot dog eating fundraiser again at the poco legion
8) trading cards
9) we take half of Reedies fee for when he does motivational speaking gigs at soccer camps

Grow ops are so early 2000's.

Agreed grudgingly have to admit amazing season Poco has put together this year. Only season to rival it in recent memory was Chilliwack's undefeated 17-0-1 season in 2005-06. We were told our record was the best ever at the time in FVSL Premier league history. Our goals for/against wasn't quite as impressive as Poco's but I remember it being about mid-fifties goals for and 17 or 18 against. Will be interesting to see if they can match our 05-06 record over final couple games...

everyone comments on everyone's teams. we're not going anywhere. was at the game tonight. acbc played well, looked like the acbc of a couple of years ago at some points in the game. shriner what team are you with?
