1-0 Langley over Poco tonight at Newton.
Our Rangers trained on the other Turf, but from what we saw it was one-way traffic for Poco pretty much the entire match. TK and Tino could have scored at least one each easily but it just didn't happen. Langley got one and basically locked down the fort.

Tk and Tino could have had 4 each. We can't scort a goal if we tried. Very frustrating to watch. Give langley credit as they did what was needed to be done. Must win vs PAU saturday.

Speaking of can't score... you should have seen what Aldergrove reduced the game soccer too. I'd honestly rather lose more than I win than play like that. They made the old BBY Canadians look like the 84' Oliers.
11 behind the ball and they refused to move, and got yelled at if they did as much, to come across their half of the CENTER CIRCLE until the ball did. They packed the box with no less than 10 when we did mange to get the ball in deep. They have a new coach (Uncle Bucky) and credit to them they showed up with a game plan and were disciplined to almost a fault. They caught us on 2 brutal fast breaks as we were caught napping when we all pushed up into literally their end. The 3rd was a free kick that deflected off our wall when Brum was caught going the other way.
Hopefully the rust is off and we're a little more alert and disciplined ourselves come Saturday.

The premier team must have watched their Master's team do the same thing at Parkside. Postage stamp field and they played the same tactics against us (Delta United) in a 0-0 draw. The only thing they gave us were 30 yard shots as they had 10 guys in the box with one front-runner. One of the most brutal games I have played in years.....

Just wondering why we were told by abby that the feilds were closed yet there are a number of girls teams playing on the same pitch?

We were up 2-0 in the 60th minute and for 10 minutes we just fell apart and they tied it up by the 70th. They were awarded a penalty shot in extra time and their forward made no mistake. I give them a lot of credit for coming back and winning. Real disappointed in my guys last night. Sometimes all the skill in the world can't win you games you need heart and hard work. On to port moody friday in what should be a good game.
