Langley Derby postponed for a second time due to snow. Nice to have a pint and some fine food with The Athletics though.
Great bunch o' lads and hands down the best post match set up I've ever seen. Looking forward the up coming Derby games as footy on the south side of the Fraser is alive and well. With any luck Langey will put a team in the Premier next year and I'll be playing wherever Frank in cookin'.

If they win them all they will finish 2nd.(If they can get all the games in)

The owner will make sure there is a team!!! And as for the Div 1 team they can not even get 11 players out to a cup game, maybe the whole program will be making a move across Scott Road!!

You would play 15 games,have a couple of weekends off here and there.Every team would maybe in better shape for Cup Play.

The Castillians are the only team from the FVSL that could play in the VMSL Premier. The other 5 would struggle to play at a high level consistently enough to be competitive and don't tell me that the Dragons would. They have been humped by the Castillians a couple of times this year because they can't keep up with the pace of play and the physical nature of the game.

I played in both leagues this year and have seen first hand the competitive imbalance between the leagues.

It was just a thought.

If there are 10 teams again in the FVSL Masters Premier,there will always be 2 teams out of the 10 who struggle a wee bit.

Maybe should only be 8 teams,less games,have more rest for the old guys.

Last year the Castilians won the league on the last game of the season,this year they won the league in style with 2 games remaining.
The 2 new signings this year of Coops and Brownie made the difference.Also we should thank Dominion for helping us out this year when short of bodies.

Poco Dominion are in good shape to win Div 1,although 3 teams below them have games in hand,they still have to win them to pass Poco.

Does anyone know when the provincial Cup draws are happening? Also how does it work for the 4 berths in the Valley? Is it top 3 from league and then the FVSL cup winner get the 4 spots?
