Time running out for the Knights. The problem you now face is that the Clones have that all-important game in hand on you. Besides you guys, it appears they have yet to play the PM Lions, Eagleridge, Tigers, and Players...all potentially tight games.

Who do the Knights have left to play?

we have played all those teams and beat them all but lions, losed 1-0 to them.

We still play geu wolves, clones, langley and surrey stars

If it ends up in a tie we play them last game of the year and we have more goals for and less agianst.

So, it would appear you have the easier schedule, therefore division rights should be in the bag...assuming you win all your games, and maintain a lower GAA and higher GF than the Clones. The Clones are a bunch of drunken old men who snort crushed Viagra...it should be a cake walk for you.

I guess, nobody with the exception of the PM Lions, GEU Titans, and Surrey Rippers. I guess that by beating you on those days, they didn't prove that their 11 was better that day than your 11.

Wait a second...am I missing something? Did the Black Knights somehow prove that they were better than those teams on the days they played each other? Somebody please explain how this works.

dude, i would love to. your team loses 1-0 but hits the post 9 times and the cross bar 4, u carry the possesion 90 % of the time, miss 6 breakaways all the while your goalie and defenceman miss communicate...blah blah they have open net..game over........
i though an old wise man like yourself would have played in a game of this nature over his 25 yr carreer.

i can appreciate showing up to a game with a few beers, make some creative jokes from the sideline.........but holy shite......this car rolls up 5 fat guys get out, each carrying a big macdonalds bag, swiging down sprite, helling your moms fat every10 seconds. if something is funny, well fukc its funny, what can u do.........but then there's u lot.........u would have been funnier if you 5 just stood there eating and not said a word.

First and foremost get your lips off their asses, the blacknights are not the best team in this league. It's true they could finish first with some luck, but that's a long road ahead. What have they really accomplished this year, five goals against peace arch or mabye nine goals against the coyotes. Those teams are at the bottom of the league, and that was the begining of the season. Four out of the top eight teams have either beat or not played the knights yet, and the other games were decided by one goal. Everyone has been listening to this dumbass " filling the net " and his stupid posts, I watched your game on sunday and their only goal was off someone's back. Good luck " boys " ( not men ) it should be an interesting finish.

So who is the best team is it you guys sitting in 7th place with one good player. I am not a blacknight supporter, I mean they do have a good starting 11. I would say they are the only team in the league I have seen that don't have a really weak player. On the other hand I wouldn't say they are overloaded with talent. They didn't even create an opportunity outside of 25 yards against us we hit two posts and missed a shot from wide open with nobody around in the second half. They definitly move the ball around better then anyone I have seen. If they didn't have the two bigger guys on their team who play in the center midfield there team would be crap. I wouldn't say there defense is paticularly strong its the fact that they dominate in the midfield that they are able to keep such a good goals against. Not to say they are going to win the league or the cup I hope they don't. I think there are alot of teams capable its who comes out with the victory on sunday.

The scoreboard never lies...part of scoring the goal is hitting the net. Something I've learned in 25 years playing. I also learned, however cruel it may be, that hitting the post or cross-bar count as MISSES.

Finally, one other cruel lesson I leaned is that if you lose, you are not the best team on the day. It tore me up the first time I learned this, remember it well...we were all 5 years old, running around like a swarm of bees (we had these ugly, ugly, maroon Cape Horn kits...terrible), kicking the ball every which way. Well, at the end of the game, the other team had scored 7 goals, and we had only scored 4. We were all happy after the game, nonetheless. I guess none of us could really count that well, because when our coach had the post match chat with us, he told us it's OK to lose, and that it's all about fun, and he was proud of us, and BLAH, BLAH, BLAH...

Well, "FCUK YOU!", I said. I then proceeded to let fly my first ever C-bomb, and called Mike Bottom's old man a cnut. I think I spat on him, too. My Mum then pulled me by the ear, drove me home, busted the wooden spoon over my ass, and sent me to bed that night without chocolate milk. She even made me phone Mr. Bottom and apologize. I had my fingers crossed though. Didn't know that, did you Mum?

So, I kind of understand that if you LOSE on Sunday, you are not the better TEAM. For you optimists, you are the second best team, but for the rest of civilized society, you are the LOSER that day.

Ask old George if he understands this concept when you play the Clones. I think he has 50 years playing experience, and may be able to enlighten you.

Hats off to the " brit " we have running up front because he is probably the best foward in the division, but he isn't what's keeping this team up there. We have alot of talanted players on this team, and alot of never will be drunks, it's just that we mix well, and we have fun. I just want to know why after the second or third goal against you guys would'nt play a man back, because it could have been a great game, you definitly outplayed us in the second half, and I enjoyed playing on your field it's great. Good luck guys!

We didn't play the extra man back cause our coach is more or less a moron, he seems to love us playing the U15 house league offside trap and as you can see it's working wonders for us ... But unless I'm mistaken and the score just wasn't reported for our game, looks like we might be having another go at it, the word I'm hearing is that the ref didn't bother to check if your suspended players were in the line-up (and I'm not suggesting that they were), so that game may not count. We'll see what happens with that I guess.

There you have it straight from the other teams mouth, like I said on paper we should be winning every game but I think we have played a complete game twice this season and one was against our very own Tigers!! There is no better starting 11 then our squad, teams just get pumped to play us cause were in first place. Take you guys, garbage more or less and you have beaten the three best teams in the league but lost to GEU WOLVES, GEU TITANS, Eagle ridge and tied the worse team in the league. How do you explain that except for those three weeks you have played the top teams, you guys have been just another victim of over acheiveing. I hope we play you guys in the playoffs so that we can dominate your cheeseburger ass's all over the field again and show you what happens to teams come playoff time.


The top four teams that I have seen are
1)Knights
2)Players
3)Titans
4)Delta F.C ( which is odd why they are so low in standings but have a decent squad, i think they pick up some SFU players for the playoffs???, anyways there pretty solid and could be scary in the playoffs, which looks like it could be the rippers seeing that in the first round!!)

You guys are like us and now need to step up and win every game to be in the top two, but we both play the clones so that should be a 6 point jump for you guys.

hey filling the net. i've been reading all the posts from the last couple of days and as much as it pains me to do so, you guys do have some telanted players. having said that i think it's about time some teams in this league start giving the rippers some respect. as you pointed out we have lost against some shocking teams but most of those loses came at the begining of the season. i think we have a very good bunch of guys that work hard game in and game out, Just for the record we are unbeaten in our last five tilts,two of which came against two of the top three teams. having seen your last five games it looks like your team may have to start picking up your socks heading into playoffs as your only a average 2-2-1, not exactly top of the league material. maybe if your team played as hard of a game as you talk you'd be as good as you think you are.

and just too let you know i had a filet o fish not a big mac

Thats Great and if you read my post, I said your the only reason why your team is decent, the rest is not garbage but not talented either....
Your a solid player with great skills no doubt but honestly did we not clearly out play you and you scored on 1 defense miss cue and one goal were our goalie called it and didn't come out to get it, no excuses but if you noticed on Sunday we had our regular goalie and when we played you we didn't!!

Congrats on the 5 goals I am hearing words it might not count though!!

Well you showed up after half and have only seen us once besides playing us, we are not playing to our potential but give Delta credit there really not that bad.

the clones aren't too bad, they are bigger guys who will use their strength and knock guys off the ball so your team is going to need to play the ball around alot and not hold onto it so much
