Just heard from the ol' coach that we're going to be having some midweek games in the next couple of weeks. Storm6, you guy's willing to make the trek out to Slurrey for a weeknight game?

Here's an update of the combined standings for D3 going into the weekend, with all the games in hand I think us and Abby are going to finish the season well ahead of everybody

Hey Stallion, from the sounds of it you guys are as hungry to play us as we are you. Looking forward to Feb 11. Been a strange year with the weather and our bloody lights. Don't worry though the light 'issue' has been taken care of so the 'match of the year' in div 3c will be well lit. Here's my predicted winners for Cup round 2:

Hard to deny that there was bit of rust 2 game in 2 1/2 months will do that. Nonetheless, 5-0 at the half then we took our foot of the gas a bit. A PK and one our goalie wishes he had a better look at. Good on Cloverdale for staying in it and not folding up the tent.
By the by, I think our coach is working on a midweek fixture with a few teams

due to my rocking ways i have missed 4 games as they have been Sat night affairs and my gigs have gotten in the way...The Storm look like they are a force....be wary Stallion.! ....we play the Coyotes this weekend.....a win will lock it up....a loss will make for a scary finish.......do the top 2 teams move up or just the first place team....?

Storm6, would have loved to meet in cup, it wasn't the D2 team, we can beat them and look forward to playing them next year, and not after a month layoff of nothing. Next weekend will be for the group no doubt, looking forward.
guitarman, top 2 teams get promoted so it looks like you should be movin on up. Head's fine, nice scar, get plastic surgery on my lip though, also get to sue the guy and the pub as my profession doesn't welcome huge scars on foreheads (if only I was a wizard)

Hopefully you heal well....did this guy sucker you or what...? Harsh man......i am hanging up the boots at the end of the season so i want to go out on top......got the band and a new baby girl at home ( six weeks old) so its time.
40 is a good age and im glad i was still able to play at this level at this age .

First off, congrats to POCO Pacific for a hard fought match. Yes, they were undermanned in comparison with their short bench. But they battled hard and made us earn all 3 goals. Kudos boys. Best of luck in league play.
Second, 11 for 16 on my round 2 predictions. Not bad for a hunch.
Stallion, sorry to see we won't get meet you in cup play. Feb 11th looms large. Props to Krank'd, Chaos, and Westcoast for representing Div 3 well in cup. We are looking forward to round 3 and relish the chance of a test against a strong Div 2 side. when do we see the round 3 draw? anyone?

I hear they're doing the draw for Round 3 tomorrow, but I could be wrong. Hopefully you'll get PoMo Lions and can get them back for us, as there's not doubt that after a couple games you guys are right back into it and shouldn't have any trouble. Scouting report if you draw them free of charge. We have 2 games this weekend so we'll be ready for you on the 11th.- Status
