Dec 4 World Cup draw.
Dec 15th Xmas party and the long awaited FVSL Cups Draw.
Dec 25th I get what I have been asking for,,,Defence...and more Premier Players.
Also on Dec 25th Im giveing my team new Mittens.
Amazeing what you can find at the dollar store.

Hey, has any team ever repeated the Presidents cup.?

Yup, Surrey United 1997 and 1998. Delta United 1991,1992,1993. Been there done that, nothing new. And if your wondering about Pakenham Cup, Peace Arch did it 2007 and 2008 and White Rock Utd did it 1976,1977,1978,1979. But the BCPL is uncharted territory....

Not sure, it depends how many Premier players played on the Div.2 team competing for the Pres. Cup. LOL

No, but seriously that's a good question, not sure. But i'm sure with the way ACBC recruits new players with quality and skill and upgrades every position constantly, it may happen this year.

But Pomo, Guildford and FVRD seem to look like good as well.

In Cup..Its anyones game..You have to be prepaired everygame. Cards,Injuries,Attitude,Work,Holidays. So many variables to take into consideration.

If everyone comes to play with the right attitude. Meaning ,not hung over,had the right meal before.plenty of rest. wants to win. And does his job and takes no stupid penalties.
sticks to the game plan and plays mistake free simple ball. Its anyones game.
But to get the whole team on the same page is a hard thing to do.
You can usually tell in the first 5 seconds when a player arrives at the park if he is going to play well or hurt your team. Attitude is everything. Ill take Attitude over skill in Cup anytime. Skill and Attitude is even better.LOL... Leave everything on the field.
I Love Cup.
The draw will be fun this year...Were haveing our team Xmas party at the Cup Draw Party. Why not ,the food is already paid for.....I suggest you all do the same.

Some of you may or may not know, but the Presidents cup is what used to be the Bradner cup until a certain President decided to get rid of the cup and call it the Knights League Cup.

Bradner won the Bradner Cup and Pak both in 1951 and 1952.

Other cup wins by Bradner:

Bradner Cup in: 1959,1960,1961,1962,1967,1969,1971,1973,1974,1975,1977 and 1979.

Pak Cup in:
1949,(51, and 52 as previously mentioned),1957 and 1958. One in which they spit the cup with Mission.

And YES this was before our field was shite and it was full grass.

So since '79 Bradner hasn't won anything? Ouch.

They won that sweet pitch they play on back in the day playing on half gravel half grass was the in thing
