Re: [FVSL D2] Results & Banter March 2010
I'd lean towards your group MB10, simply because we were such an easy game on some nights and a hard game on others, as evidenced by our cup run and performance in some games against weaker teams...
Our division wasn't really close, with us only getting 1 point out of the possible 12 in the 2 games against both ACBC and Guildford we were never in the hunt, and to protect against injuries and due to injuries we were good on some days and shocking on others, and that goes right through our division, personally I like the SFC Peg Impact guys, they'd be a D2 title contended if they got a bit more depth, Sikh is terrible save one or two players (including maybe the best player in the division), The Knights finished second to last but had an early season tragedy that clearly affected their season. The Titans need to find a few goalscorers or they will stay where they are (mid pack D2 at best) Westcoast is a D3 team in quality (sorry Duffman ) And the Bullets are an older team that is too good for D3 and not good enough to play masters.
Our Division wasn't as close as the standing would have you believe.
Looking at your division, and the closeness and parity... 2A, in my estimation, was the overall best division, I'd say that 2B had the hardest/best top end of any division though. 2C isn't even in the conversation. That division saw 1 team beat the tar out of everyone and lose twice to the second place team, that then ran into injury and consistency problems.
