Ouch!!

Another european season has ended for the huns without anything to cheer about. But no worries I am sure this was part of Big Eck's plan.

No you can concentrate on finishing second in the SPL.:p

Two things

Firstly, haha.
Secondly, when we were all making the excuses last year about Celtic's run in Euro having an adverse,(negative for you bucky) affect on thier league standings you mob,( the huns) were having none of it.

So before you start, wheesht.

I can't wait Jinks.

BTW, your post on Duffy (Who he?) was spot on.
I think we had 6 U-21s on the pitch with 3 on the bench.
I suppose I can take some some comfort in that being some good experience for them.
Watched the highlights last night and also have to say I'm a bit torn watching the second and third goals from Panathinaikos.
The second goal was either a great 35 yard strike or questionable goalkeeping by Klos.
The third goal was either masterful touches and runs by the Greeks slicing apart our back line or just plain pathetic defending.
A bit of both I guess.

Why didn't I log on last night? Damn.

Well bully for you, ya pom-pom waving little girls blouse.
When did you become a Celtic fan?
I thought you had a hard on for Scots in General.
So which Greek team do you support?
Wannabeiakos?
Way to put your balls on the line out there.
Or, is your team not in the Champions League?

Great for Celtic, they are having another good year.
Their results in Europe actually help us so I'll jump on that bandwagon too.
Best of luck to them today.

When will you come to the realization that your posts lack any information or any wit?
Do you know how painful it is to read through them looking for something, to come to the conclusion that there was nothing there in the first place?
In addition, you apparently back stop some fcuking shite team in some shite league and so therefore unfortunately I come to the conclusion that your opinion on this game probably means fcuk all by most accounts.
Keep up the great GAA in Div. 5 or wherever the fcuk you ply your trade.

And, I can't shut off the constant, shrilly little girl's voice in my head every time you post since this one:

and they are a dirty team

All I see is this olive skinned little girl with dark hair pigtails screaming at the top of her lungs when she's stumbled into the den to find Dad and 'Uncle' Dimitri comprimised whilst delivering a plate of Baclava.
I apologize if my mates instilled this fear of God into you, I really am.
I should stick in some ear plugs from now on when I read your fcuking useless tit posts.
Should have done it sooner I suppose, it's that fcuking painful.

Anyhoo, I've gone a bit off topic and therefore think we should take it up elsewhere.
And no, before your little mud hole starts twitching, I don't mean 'take it up' in the way made famous by your curious ancestors.
Another locale here is what I meant.

My suggestion is the Greek thread.

In front again

Lyon come out of the tunnel at half and start pushing the Tic around. Juninho from a long way out bounces it past Hedman for a 2 - 1 lead.

Painful to write

Against the run of play, the tic squeeze a goal past the Lyon keeper.

Sutton in the 75th minute.

2 - 2 with 15 to go. Parkhead has probably spilt a pint or two this afternoon;)

tough luck for Celtic to be dumped out like that - late pk

they had a quality opportunity and more to play for, unlike Rangers who already knew they wouldnt be advancing

i hear Hedman let an awful one in for the 2nd goal?!

Late PK

As much as this must hurt Champlain's Cornholer:rolleyes: Celtic are out of the Champions League... I guess this means the "B" Cup (no I'm not refering to you Glasgow Ghirl) for the Hoops...
Was a Dutchman officiating today??? I mean it couldn't of really been a Peno if it was called against a team the Captain supports!!! ;)

My condolences, (seriously, I would have liked to see Jinky gloat) Atleast he had the brain to not go off about Rangers exit knowing full well the tims had a tough match ahead...

Celtic FC

Who came 3rd in the group?

The Tic or Anderlecht?
By the sounds of it, Anderlecht?

Are they out of the CL and the 'B' Cup?
Too right - not good for Scottish fitba then.
That'll definitely cost the SFA in the rankings if the case.
If Celtic continue their domestic form with us not catching them, this could really fcuk Rangers for next year's qualification.
Ironic that along with our loss, Celtic's loss could have added another dagger?

It's all Celtic's fault.

BTW:

Unlucky Zenga on not advancing, Inter is a quality side compared to those that did advance.

Your man Vieri, I heard he's not happy there?

True?

to the Tic boys for the next month or so.

Lean, you'll be listening to us for the rest of the SPL season because you will be chasing us. Don't worry. We also have a shot at the 'B' cup again, but I don't think we will be near as successful this year.

Thanks to a couple of fcuking things at my school, I was unable to attend the game. Things all looked so promising when I came to school this morning............Fcuk.

All I could do was follow the commentary while the kids were writing their test. It certainly sounds like Hedman had a shoc-ker on the 2nd goal and the ref might have made a harsh decision? Unfortunately, I can't fcuking comment on it because I haven't seen any of the cnuting highlights. According the write-up, very harsh and rubbish goaltending. Having said that, Lyon appeared to be taking to the Bhoys in the second half and probably on the run of play, deserved to win. It is still a bitter pill to swallow, when a controversial penalty/call changes the outcome of a game.

Hail! Hail!
