27 years gap didn't turn those from being a puke ugly WTF to a beautiful jersey. Just because they jumped into another ugly mess doesn't make this beautiful. Ugly then, ugly now.

So... are the Nucks in the playoff race now or still too early to get any hopes up?

7-3 last 10 with a few teams to catch who have games in hand? Kings who are second in the Pacific only 5 points away...

I think it's best to push for it, not trading of assets, and no acquiring rentals. Look to move Miller in off-season if that's what's best for building the team out, but right now, the experience of the push and being in is what builds a winning attitude and locker room.

I lean more towards just getting to the playoffs so my hopes are up they can take every 2 out 3 the rest of the year and that's enough to get them in.

Sure you'd like to contend every year but with parity these days, once you're in anything can happen.

Watching the leafs get eliminated in the first round every year doesn't excite me anymore

Hope they make the playoffs as the last place team, then get a slightly better draft choice and still have a chance to advance in the playoffs if Demko is hot.
