Again, the US was nowhere to be found on the footballing scene until 1990, and they bought themselves in for 1994. They are proof that with enough money, a nation can qualify. They are proof that a strong Domestic league is essential, because you can't tell me that the system the US teaches and plays is in any way what you'd envision. So...based on that alone, your strong contention that our biggest issues are coaching before the absence of a domestic league...well...not true.
