Guys I will be there with my group of young guys cheers. Dezza can point us out.
Just look for cheker shirts.
I heard Tony's job and Victors job depends on this game. A must win with out any ??.
The coach and TD performance would be linked to MNT results.
A president is appointed/voted I think for a term.
A successful WWC in Canada under his watch would be something to look at as well as being named to the FIFA clean-up crew or whatever it's called. I would imagine corporate sponsorship is up (no background knowledge here but on the surface it appears so). Basically things are looking ok everywhere but on the field
Regs guys must do better, there is lots on the line. Nice talk only goes so far. "Results are on the line". President is a top gun, TD is under him. Results against lower level countries are good but group stage is something that they must better in. They have changed players and coaches with out a good luck. So far the old guy is done better than others. Game at home against Honduras is a must win. Domestic leagues is a must for us to do better. I hope tons of youth clubs come out to support the team.
Youth coaches need to show-up.
"Cheers Canada" Go Go kick some but.
MR Base, if the CSA had any brains at all, every club in town would be handed 2,000 tickets for free, allow the teams to sell them or hand them out as a fundraiser for their teams, and fill that top section. You are bang on right there.
As to firing everyone...
The success of the MNT is hamstrung until we have a Domestic Professional league where Canadian Professionals can develop. Until then, it's the same old, same old.
I think Vic should be judged on his ability to build the infrastructure needed- maybe over the next 5 years- not tied to the men's WC qualifying results.
Further, request that clubs "make it mandatory" for all players to attend. Cancel any training, etc. Sadly, what I really expect is we'll have our small section of TTPers amongst an otherwise empty end zone. We'll make a lot of noise but will be drowned out by thousands of Hondurans banging pots and pans. Then @utah will say something offensive and awesome, we'll all get in a fight, and end up at Brandy's.
Wow....this great news. Canada's defence has been solid, but they needed a proven goal scorer. This is awesome.. if Mr.Larin can hit his stride at the International Level this team now has a chance...
He's a guy though that can go at defenders, something we don't currently have at all in the current squad. He might not be playing as much as before for his club team but surely we can agree he is an upgrade over the current out wide players?
I've wondered for a while why Aird's never got a call.
I was thinking maybe he was holding out for a Scotland call up?
Anyhow, he's not featured much at Rangers this year as he has the last two years.
The new manager doesn't seem to rate him as much as the last managers.(McCall/MacDowell/McCoist).
But I think he's good enough to put on a Maple Leaf top though.
Update on TTP Group:
We have 25 tickets in Section 225 @utah 10 @Gurps 2 @Dude 1 @TheRob 1 @Ballbaby 1 @Regs 1
9 left, who else wants to join for the night? $22 per ticket is all it takes!
