Zenga,

I noticed that :D

I will go on record right now and say that Sopel is not the 'Nucks #1 worry right now. There are many playing the shits. Then again, maybe it is because he is so shitty out there and continues to get minutes that the rest of the team is thinking the same thing?

In that case, he is shitty and is also a cancer!

:D

Regs, do I sense you coming around and finally seeing the light. Sopel is one of the top dmen on the team. Face the facts.

Where is all the negative Sopel bashing now? The guy is a great offensive dman. No question about it. He has 4 points tonight vs the Preds already. There is still the third to go. Its a career night for Sopel. I am calling the hat trick. :D

Yes, you always want a career night halfway through a 82 game schedule

Where were you the last couple of games when Sopel was even crappier than usual? :D

I didnt feel the need to post the obvious. The guy has been steady and increasing his point totals every game. By the way, he has 3 points. I just heard that Bertuzzi got a tip on the once Nazzy goal. Sopel lost the assist on the goal. You seem to be down playing a possible hat trick, Regs. I wonder who and when the last Nuck dman was to get a trick? ;)

Last D-man was Dave "Bear" Babych, around 1991. I remember the story and thinking it was a joke.

As far as I'm concerned, if it's good luck to keep bashing Sopel, he's a pylon.

Trade him.

It looks like Regs is more interested in All-Star Survivor, than watching a huge Nucks game, so he didn't get to see the great night that Sopel had, 3 points, game winner in OT, and some huge plays in his own end. I am telling you, Burkie is going to use this guy as some huge trade bait. How does Sopel and Fedor to the Rangers, for Nedved, bring back old Petre for the Cup run. Beer and shooter at the Roxy for Petre.

Great win tonight, how many icings were the sharks going to take in the 3rd befroe the Nucks could score.

If by great plays in his own end you meant great plays for the sharks then you are correct. Both goals were scored by his check, yes he did have a good offensive game but let's not be ridiculous, Regs is right. He is still shite.

BTW, allstar survivor was good too.

After watching Sopel last night I have to ask:

Why couldn't it have been him to stick up for Naslund?

Worst defenseman ever
