1.14? At those odds there's no use making a bet. You only risk losing a lot of cash if England shite the bed. If they win...whoop de doo.

Ditto. You'd have to bet at least 20 grand to make it worth your while. And frankly, I don't trust Sven that much.

Put a few on the draw as well since England coulnd't even score on KNVB's illegitimate Argentinian daughter.

Scary first half for England. Thank you John Terry for keeping the score level at half time. We need to teach Carragher the words to the national anthem before the next game.

Lampard and Gerrard not good enough and we don't look threatening at all up front. England still just going through the motions expecting the result to come. We better step it up in a large way in the second half if we want to walk away from this game with points.

Cheers

Not much better in the second half. Rooney and Lennon did inject some urgency into the game with Lennon showing exactly why he is in the squad. With England through, I would start Lennon for sure against Sweden.
Interesting by Erickson to pull Carragher and rely on Beckham to play as a right back. It did work well as he and Lennon linked up well and allowed Beckham to stay on the pitch and deliver the cross that gave us our first goal. Nice strike by Stevey Gerrard for #2.
We have to play much better and we can not wait until after the Sweden game to do this. The Sweden game is huge for us to actually put in a quality display for more than 15 minutes.

We will take the win, but still a lot of work to do yet for us to actually play to our potential based on the quality players in the squad.

Nice to see Erickson getting in to the game in the last 15 minutes too, about fukcin time..

Cheers
