Even if we lost the last two and CR win their last two they would still need to make up the plus 11 goal difference (tie breaker for 3rd) and that includes a game vs the USA. So the chances of us not qualifying are very low. That panama tie was huge for us.

So what am I missing here? Under this scenario, how can Canada NOT finish above the USA in any way shape or manner?

Tiebreaker is overall GD, not head-to-head.

So our +11 over Costa Rica basically has us there already.

But...

This is Canada so I will wait until it is mathematically confirmed.
