That's not exactly how it happened and let's leave it at that as (1) it doesn't concern you; and (2) is off-topic for this thread.

So it did happen like that but "not exactly" , thank you for clarification LOL
And you made it my concern and relevant to this thread when you yourself asked "Does anyone really need to see this jackass back on the site ever? "

Well after appearing to know what I was talking about in the Prelim round, the Round of 16 proved just how baseless my predictions are! Let's see if I can use what we've learned...

Rnd of 16 1/8
Overall 8/16

QUARTER-FINALPREDICTIONS:

Campo v AC Richmond
Both teams had convincing wins in the Round of 16 and I would have to think this sets up as the Match of the Round. Turns out Campo wern't in nearly the shambles we though they were after botching promotion, Soccer Coach seems to have them motivated and focused once more. They saw off the past champion All Blacks with relative ease, though AC Richmond finished well ahead of the All Blacks this season. The lads from below sea level had no problems against another past champion in South Burnaby, so it would appear finely poised. At the end of the day when Campo is on their game we all know they "can beat any of the top teams from (VMSL) Premier," so I have to think they will get it done against a "lowly" RASA side ;)

Port Moody v Impero Calcio
Whatever language Impero Calcio were speaking clearly worked, as they knocked of GN Sporting on the road. The Surrey boys looked good value for a deep cup run, but it wasn't to be this year, and they will have to wait at least two seasons for another shot, given their promotion, somehow I don't think they will be too desperate for another chance! Port Moody though did something few teams from the mainland do, they won on the island. Their victory came over the VISL's top seeded team no less. Back at home now for a quarter final, you've got to fancy the Tri Cities boys.

Rino's v Snipers
Yet another chance for Rino's to prove 2B is the better division, I guess. They dusted off 2A upper echelon NorVan with seemingly little trouble, so by the same logic that every time a team from one division beats a team from the other that division as whole is better, then if Rino's can beat NorVan it should be easier to beat Snipers . I didn't think Snipers would get the job done against a team visiting from the island, I definitely don't think they will knock off the 2B Champions.

Mundiadvocat v Strikers
My runner up for Match of the Round, this one has every chance of being a cracker. The lawyers put everyone on notice with their roster, their league title and their Round of 16 win that they have every intention of taking a shot at the title this season. The VMSL Div 2 Cup runners up are no slouches though and seem to have a knack for knockout competition. This one is too close to call, plus Mundi got me my only win in the Round of 16, so perhaps I should be loyal. I will roll the dice on the road team though, and take Strikers to win, but quite possibly requiring more than 90 minutes.

Rinos win vs norvan
Should dispel the myth from Soccer
Coach that 2A was a superior division
As Norvan was the last team beat Campo
Good solid game from our boys
All coaching staff very proud there performance
Poor reffing won that game only one linesman till the half. Same shitty linesman from week before. Couldn't make the right call 2 feet in front of him. Should have been 3 yellows in first 10 mins. 2 for rinos and 1 for norvan. Ref just sucjed on his whistle instead of blowing it. Was like a baby soother

That always seems to happen doesn't it.
Yes it does. It seems that big games do not see big refs and this time good linesmen. I'm willing to put up a $100 to play them again. What about u Derrick?? U haven't mentioned how u dusted us off like someone else did. It seems they forgot to mention the time change in the last week as well leaving us 3 starters short. The league told us it was because u couldn't book the field but at least u told us the truth that u had ubc students with exams. We would have like to have a say in the time change as well. I would have liked u to have ur full team there as I wanted to have our starters there too. But such is life. Onto summer :) good luck guys.

Campo v AC Richmond
Why?...sounds like Campo are/were missing key players and maybe that's enough for AC to take advantage and squeak out a win!

Port Moody v Impero Calcio
With a somewhat surprising victory over VMSL Div.2A winners laster week, I'm picking our fellow Burnaby league team for the victory in this match up.

Rino's v Snipers
Rino's to knock off another team @True Lies says is better than Rino's. So far they've beaten the strikers(1-1 league play) and the Storm. Add Snipers to the list after this weekend.

Mundiadvocat v Strikers

Good luck fellas!
