I don't mind sitting Koffie in Montreal (although let's just say my WFC ticket source was less than impressed with that take).... He's played a lot recently, and points in LA are way more important than points in Montreal...

If LA is going to be a struggle (never won there) and you are looking for points, why wouldn't you put the strong line-up against the Impact to ensure at least 3 points from these 2 games?

Agree. That said, nice to get three tonight. Octavio deserved more bottom line for his work rate, smart, and unselfish play. Manneh's, nice goal, behaved like a spoiled child when he came off. Mattocks was clueless for his spell. Back-line and all three DMs that played did a nice job.

I suppose due to conference standings, but you'd have thought they'd try and nab the easy points early, then go for broke. Tonight they went in with a lot of extra pressure due to that decision. Worked out, but completely against the odds.

Forgot to ask this over the weekend... During the Rapids match, it was mentioned that Laba was getting a much deserved rest so he was left out of the lineup.

Didn't he sit out the week before for yellow card accumulation?

Yes.

I don't think anything is up, it is more a matter of this being a winnable match, and using the opportunity to rest our best player. In hindsight, bad gamble by our manager. Another rookie blunder, but had it worked out, he'd be praised. I don't think I'd have sat him.
