Westvan all over again - CS's prediction should come true.

Sapp is trying to get Queens Park grass for the game. The only time available is Sunday 4 PM.

Note to Gorge - there is no alcohol allowed in QP. They are very strict about it. Sorry boys. My advice is to drink heavily the night before.

The Gorge boys can go to Rivers Reach after. It's a lot more hospitable than your tent at the side of the Stadium where you do not drink after every game. 4pm Sunday, how do you sleep!

Straight in the Pat Bay Hwy which becomes Blanchard...and the park it at Blanchard and Finlayson. 20 mins.

It is turf and big.Change rooms as well. Just follow Pat bay hwy till you hit the mayfair mall on your right then turn left and it is right there.

We expect Qualicum Beach to give us a tough battle next weekend and aren't too happy with our first round draw. I've heard the North Island League have some real hard men up there and even if we do get by them it won't leave us with much for the next round.

Jack the lad, let's be honest here. I have heard people already talking out of your camp about how many goals you will get in this game. I also heard that Watchman was trying to look into what the record is for 1 player scoring goals in a BC playoff game? Like Coach has said in another thread, dinner table is set, now go out and enjoy your dessert!!!

Now the real games begin and this is where you seperate the Men from the Boys.

BTW heard some of the scores predicted for POCO game against Qualikum have been in the high single digits and have included a few double digit #'s. What was it JTL 8 or 9-0 with yourself putting in 7 goals?? Let's just hope POCO shows some class in this game. As it is going to be a blow out!!

First, we will be overjoyed to get to that stage of the competition. Second we can only hope to avoid being blown out by any VMSL team that we have the fortune of being 'humped' by. I expect they will have a significant edge in: skill, fitness and stamina.

I personally think it is wise for JTL et al to take the low road on their game. Absolutely no one knows anything about Qualicum, and I think it is classy for the Poco group to take this stance. It is not about sandbagging, it is about humility and respect on their part.
