Re: Pak Cup Games

Average aren't you over selling them Milhouse.

Sucks to be Poco prem. and Chilliwack prem. as one of them is going to have an early exit.

Quarter-final prediction....

My predictions for the final 8:

Rangers (1) vs Langley (P)

GEU (CAT) vs Chilliwack (P)

Whalley (P) vs GEU (P)

Delta (P) vs PAU (P)

If this comes to fruition, it seems inevitable that Chilliwack & Langley would advance to the finals. The bottom half is a bit more difficult to predict. However, it is cup play, and I'm sure there will be some upsets.

My two-bits,

~S

Re: 2005 Pak Cup Banter

Ahhhh,
2005 has been great so far as the Rangers would have been missing a lot of players on that first week of the cup. Off to Jacko's wedding in Cancun, home in time to play the Highlanders twice in Feb.
As for Alderhole and BK's.............time to put up or shut up.

Re: 2005 Pak Cup Banter

Excuse me for being a newbie to the FVSL....

But, how does one qualify for the BC's through Pak Cup?

Final Four?

I wouldn't worry about it you have to be in the final two and I see a second round knock out in your future.

Re: 2005 Pak Cup Banter

So the final two of the PAK cup qualify.
Then the next top two premier teams qualify as well.

Correct?

Feeling the love,

Be in the finals of the Pak, go to the dance.

Correct on the other assumption.

If this prediction comes true then this would not be a game you would want to miss. After all the chatter about Millsy's "dirty" play, this game will be a very hard fought match. Maybe even some blood spilled too.

Who knows. Most likely CAT. Usually get called up for a bunch of League games thoughout the season but don't get the CUP call.
Why, you guys looking to sign people?

Can't speak for LFC2, but I'm pretty sure the Club has a minimum height requirement, Nukes being the lone exception because he wrote the policy manual.

Sorry, you're not tall enough to ride.

Chilliwack/Langley will meet in the Semi's if they both make it that far :). The winner of Storm/GEU play winner of Pau/Delta, if your predictions are correct of course. They look like good picks but of course as you stated there will be upsets. I just hope we get to play the BK's.... ;)

Re: 2005 Pak Cup Banter

I have a good friend that played here last year too, who for some reason lists you as one of his close acquaintances. Let's call him my "Buddy who Longs for an Outstanding Soccer Environment".

You see, my BLOUSE was in a dispute with some Cat team from the other side of the river, where the fields are always closed, and the sheep are never lonely. My BLOUSE became all upset and unbuttoned about having his tits left hanging out in an unenviable position. To avoid being tit fcuked, my BLOUSE, at the last minute, put in the calls to his several good friends within the community. His supposedly closest friends- the sheep shagging, field closure types- didn't pick up the phone, instead choosing to place blind faith in their fearless leader, Nicely. That said, one Hell of a guy with an Enormous heart, Regardless of Other spineless acquaintances who don’t step up for fellow club mates (HERO) helped my BLOUSE find a home within our club.

Seems to me our club welcomed my BLOUSE with open arms, and wasn’t even sore at him after he packed his suitcase again for another club, where sheep are scared.

Anyhow, you’re still too short. ;)

Re: 2005 Pak Cup Banter

You are absolutely right...............................he is a blouse.
:)

Back on topic.

Game 13 Rangers vs. Langley (P)
Game 14 GEU (PDD) vs. Poco (P)
Game 15 Whalley (P) vs. GEU (P) (I'd rather see Black Knights instead of Whalley :) )
Game 16 Delta (P) vs. PAU (P)

Final Four:
Langley vs. Poco
GEU vs. PAU

Langley to beat Poco in a 1-0 game and GEU to beat PAU again in this subpar season for a Langley vs. GEU final.

Of course this all hinges on whether they sign me or not.

Rangers Destiny.

You just answered your own question.

Stick to tradition and you'll be just fine Fil. :D

I'm surprised you asked actually.
After that stellar traitor-type display you pulled off on Sunday, I just assumed you would be playing for Pegasus now.....
