Serbia 0 Metro Ford 3 - Just what the doctor ordered with Jonesy and Corrazza still out.

Sapperton 2 Surrey 0 - Surrey likes to think they are a tough team (Deacon's two footed tackles don't count). Criminal with two headers.

Argentina 3 Croatia 3 - high scoring, no defence.....Antulov is the glue that the Croats need.

Sportstown 0 Burnaby 2 - Burnaby with an unexpected win over that powerhouse from Richmond.

Sporting 0 Inter 3 - Gotta show up when you play Sporting, but the early season hype is fading.

Peg 1 Westside 2 - Simon avenges the pile driver he got last year from Mastro in the Provincial Quarter with the game winner in injury time.

Indo 3 Trollers1 - Sandman goes out of town, a good omen for the indo boys. Sankar with the hat-trick

Your the only clown out there with half a brain. All you other jokers that picked Sap over Surrey must smoke crack. Luke Hogan is the only guy on your team that can play. If we were having a high ball or a long kick contest I might be able to pick you to win other than that I think you're in some trouble!

One team was rubbish today and it wasn't Sapperton. Kevin Hearne tore you guys apart and you created nothing. The only chance was a long shot that hit the bar. Maybe from all the talk, I was expecting more. So I left somewhat disappointed, especially with Guinnesses brutal challenge. I know it was right in front of the Chunger of the Week judges but that was a VERY bad foul.

I can only assume that the team who played Sapperton today was Surrey's CAT team because they looked a step behind all game, at least from my vantage point. Hell, I have seen 3 second division teams that would lump Surrey United.

Sapperton defended VERY well as a team. They tracked all their runners right back to the 18 if necessary and gave nothing away. Maybe that is why there was nothing created in Surrey's midfield.

Well done Sapperton on a well deserved victory......

BTW, Kevin Hearne has already won the goal of the week. Some poor fella, Craig Dalrymple? tried to knock him of his feet as he was going down the sideline. Criminal stayed on his feet neatly, cut inside while the poor fella swung at him from the ground, and cracked a 20 yard howitzer into the near post. No chance for Smiles.

Metro Ford won 2-1 over Serbia on the other field.

WAB, I bought 4 beers from your cooler so don't say I didn't support you. It was a little too rainy and cold to stick around afterwards unfortunately.....
