Premier 2001/02 Predictions

I also associate with a club that has fine history, trophies and is regarded as one the glamour clubs of the VMSL even though we've done very little in the last 3 yrs in terms of success. We also wear some smokin' 'Ferrari Red' tops while you...uhm.....you play for Surrey.

(Game will be stopped early due to fights in the stands)
Surrey United 2 BCFC 0
(Burnaby won't be able to penetrate Surrey's defense and if Argentina can beat Burnaby, Surrey can too)
Sports Town ? Argentina ?
(I don't make predictions on my own games)
Peg 2 MF 1
(MF just doesn't seem to have it this year and Peg looks pretty good but I don't see a blowout)
ICSF Inter 4 Sapperton 1
(I have a good friend on Sapperton but if the Trollers can handle them 3-0 then Inter should be able to do the same or better. I do hope Sapperton wakes up though)

(Sporting looks young and fast with plenty of fire power they just can't seem to keep the ball out of their own net. Should be a walk in the park for Sporting against a slow, old, bruiser team like West Van)

Burnaby 3 Trollers 0 Won't be much of a game burnaby will dominate from start to finish

Arg. 4 Serbia 2 Will be a High scoring game with little defence.
Sporting 1 Sapperton 2 Sapperton will get another win but will need a late goal to do it.
Westside 1 Inter 2 Probably the game of the week and will be full of action but we will take it in the end.

-My new favourite team follows up the 4-0 Argie thrashing with a solid win over Metro-Ford. Darby wears the hat for the Pinkies, scoring all three in the first half; Zeus invites Jonesy and the other MF lads back to Sportstown for a comprehensive tour and investment profile immediately afterwards.
Burnaby 1
Trollups 0
-The real battle here is Durante vs. Millar....Steve wins the battle by out-jumping the Trollers' keeper for the game's lone goal. Cocco is barely missed as Corey gets the clean sheet for Burnaby....but redeems himself with a sterling rendetion of the T-bone shuffle on EC later that night.

Croatia 0
-KNVB goes wild after being wound-up by Seedy for over a month. Scores two in the first half. Smiley gets his first clean sheet in United colors. The major scrap that everybody figured would go down Thursday night actually happens in this match. Call it a hunch.

-Defense will be a four-letter word here as both teams shoot for double digits. Griffey scores two and sets up another for the Argies, who look to regain their winning ways.
Westside 4

-For some reason the Westside-Inter games are always high scoring affairs. I'll give the nod to Westside because they always seem to come out on top....But Zaurinni will get his name on the scoresheet for Inter. Unless he doesn't play or something.

-Indo are bolstered by the return of Adel and the rumoured comeback of Danny Sanks. It will be enough for them to draw with a Peg side who looks to be in great form. Missed chances on both sides will be the common theme throughout the match.
