Div 2 Week 8

The league needs to figure out a way to make playing div 1 more rewarding so you don't have teams clearly to good for a division wanting to stay there. At the end of the day winning is more fun then losing so I'm not really sure it can be changed. Imagine if a premier team decided to reform as a div 2-4 team just so they could win B cup provincials. It's probably the only way the FVSL would have a shot In B cup anyways.

Red Devils 3 1 win vs Coquitlam

Their a much better side then their record shows. Maybe they've been struggling with getting guys out but they had 15 tonight and played well going forward. Defensively they weren't very organized and lacked speed though .

Tight game. Love playing on grass, much easier for shooting. Few tough tackles and heated moments but really a clean game. Good group of guys. I'd say we had more chances to score. But in the end it was a lucky shot that went in. Rain was on and off but came down hard afterwards.thankful to be out on the pitch this fine day

Sparta 1 - 1 PMO
Good intense battle. We carried the play/possession but just couldn't finish. They scored off lucky break when our center back swung and missed clearing their throw in, and an easy tap in for their striker. We had at least 10 corners and 15-20 crosses, hit a crossbar and their keeper played AMAZING, even clearing a ball off the line that was rolling in. They created a few good chances forcing our keeper to make some good saves. Tied it in the 85th. We should've scored more, but thats the way it gors sometimes. Hats off to PMO for their performance.

Titans scored 2 very late against Dynamo too. Seems to be their trend and something we need to be aware of.

2nd through 7th only separated by 5 points. Pretty competitive division this year. Now if we can all take some more points off Sparta it'll make for a good second half of the year

What the f has happend to the rbacks. It's the exact same team as last year that finished 3rd place. Entire team is like mid twenties so it's not as if they got old in one year. Yes confused
