No I have not been there for the last three weeks due to work,
Sir M

So this explains why WV has not won in the last three weeks!! Hopefully you can get next Sunday afternoon off, or maybe take an extended lunch break seeing as the game is in downtown Vancouver!!:) Big game on Friday night out in the Tri-cities!!

Looks like it will be a three horse battle for the league title between Columbus, Poco & Pcov.

My picks for the BC's Poco, Columbus, PCOV, Westside, Richmond and the new look Lions.

Good game on the weekend, WV has an impressive line-up. Grass field was a postage stamp, but the changerooms are first class.....heated floors, flat screen, tons of space. Onto next week with another tough one. No Gimmee's at all in this league.

Flat screens are a bonus... working on draught pints in the rooms, but bit of a hurdle with the youth field hockey interests that we will have to overcome. Almost as good as the visitor's room at Queens Park I submit.

Sorry about the field size as waterfront property in West Vancouver is a bit pricey.

I concur with Yoda on his predictions this week, but there will probably be a draw or two in there somewhere.

-Columbus takes out Romania as they are still upset after losing to the Porkchops last weekend!
-Richmond at home vs Westside will be a tie
-Sapperton over Metro Ford
-Croatia Lions get their first home win of the season over WV in a major upset!
- PCOV missing players, but Poco not sure if the new field lights will work tonight, so I will go with a tie!

pcov to get beaten badly

PCOV has just called up 4 players from there over 40's team. Looks like with those 4 players and our GM we will have a total of 12 players tonight. Not so good when this is suppose to be the MOTW.

If anyone has bought tickets try and get a refund!

PCOV came out strong on friday night against Poco. I'd say the first 30 belonged to PCOV but were unable to get capitalize after some good chances to be up. Poco started coming on late in the first half and James scored on a nice shot with about 30 seconds left in the half. 1-0 Poco at half. Both teams exchanged chances in the 2nd and approx. 20 min in PCOV were rewarded a pk which Gomes buried to tie things up at 1-1. From there, both teams had chances as Poco (IMO) had more of the play but nobody could get the go ahead goal. A fair result on the day. Some interesting results on the day as half the season is done. Good luck to everyone rest of the way. On to Croatia!!

someone stated before columbus's goalie is small " so put the ball in the box"...
if you saw the game, that goalie came out a few times n punched the ball away when it was in the air...
you should never judge a person by their height.
that goalie as a back up has an amazing record for the last 4 yrs for columbus
14 wins 2 losses AND 3 TIES .
and last yr he only played not even 1/4 of the season ..

Mr. Canuck, was your back up goalie playing in net last night?

Great summation of the match Hardballz. We struggled at the beginning and it took some adjusting to the refs calls as well. Once we settled in it was a more even match.

We were unlucky to not score in the last minute of the game as well putting one just wide for the game winner.

Not our finest showing but we'll take a point from it and move on.

Back to Columbus next week to avenge week 1.

We're rubbish. Richmond marginally better. Relying on a strong cup run. We couldn't hit a barn from 6 yards right now. Fml.
