Maybe I should rephrase . . a case of quality scotch (GM12 at a minumum, and your Missus needs to be hot and bothered. Awaiting jpgs.

Looks like the Sapperton camp are for real this year. I passed by Mercer stadium that past few weeks on tuesday and thursday and noticed at least 15-20 players. I noticed bohica gained a few pounds but he rest of the team looks like they are in great shape. Nice to see a team getting very serious this time of year

That was Poco, not Sapperton.

They are in week 5 now.

Fantabby, I have to agree with Sir M
That was Poco, not Sapperton.
I know this is the VMSL thread but right now the odds on favourites to win the 2012 Master BC's would have to be Poco IMO! With PCOV in for a big battle with WV and Columbus for bragging rights in the VMSL. Sapperton will battle but won't be a top 3 team this year!!

That is excellent input/intelligence Conductor. This will definitely be factored into the upcoming Sir M's Excellent Power Rankings 2011-2012

Sir M, another bit of intel here as Coveside has merged with Vikings(freybes) in the NSCL so should be a top two team in the coaches league along with NAFC. Roma FC has lost quite a few players so in terms of your EPR the only team from the NSCL that should get any consideration would be NAFC with maybe some hype around the two merging teams for possibly an honourable mention! Poco from the FVSL is definitely looking fine tuned along with the Dragons making a few pick ups. White Rock will drop this year. As for the mighty VMSL, PCOV will definitely be in contention this year depending on who WV picks up from their open team will still battle and Columbus has made a few key additions. Sapp will battle in the middle of the pack and Richmond will battle at the bottom again!! Heard 22nd ave Lions are looking to be a middle of the pack contender and may catch a few teams taking them lightly to start the season! Be warned not to take them lightly unless you are looking to donate 3 points early!!

Not sure if someone has the answer but did PCOV merge with Sporting?

Westside FC "A"

PCOV Sporting "M"

If this is the case than I predict them to be a top two team instead of top three! Or did Sporting just offer up a bunch of money to have their name tagged onto PCOV's?

Name has to be this way in order to use the CAT SYSTEM

I will get the ball rolling for this weeks season opening predictions!

-Coq Metro Ford vs 22nd AAve Lions 2 new teams up in the Premier spot one of them earning their way the other team buying their way. MF has been here before until they were relegated while the Lions have lots of players who have played at this level before but not together as a team. Metro ford wins this one by 2 goals
- Wickham vs Richmond 2 teams that will struggle this year but at least one of them comes out of the gate with a win and a chance to build some confidence. I'm going with Wickham here as they seem to do well at home.
-Westside vs Sporting oops I mean PCOV, PCOV has done well at recruiting this summer and should start the season with a win over WS a team that always gives the Pork Chops problems during the regular season!
- Columbus vs Sapperton, Columbus will still be the class of the league while Sapp has lost some players. Sapp will still battle but unfortunately will be no match for Columbus who will take this one!
-WV vs SU, WV is serious about bringing the Western trophy back to BC this year and will use these next 3 weeks as tune ups games for that.SU will be a middle of the pack team this year and are going to lose this to one of the powers of the league this weekend!
