my picks this week
Sapp over the gypsies opps I mean Romanians!!
On the battle of the Northshore WV over Wickham by a few.
WS gets their first win since getting back from the Westerns over Richmond!
SU over the germans cause Regs called it!
And my hunches think PCOV might pull off an upset here, but I am going the safe route and picking Columbus over the Porkchops!

On paper this weeks picks should be pretty straight forward:
WV over Wickham by 2
Sapp over Rom by 4 (Alex with none, WAB with 2 befor going down to a hammie)
Col over PCOV by 3
Surrey over Alemania by 1
Then the upset of the week!!! Richmond over WS by 2! 8 goals for in the last 2 games for Richmond and WS only has 8 in there first 5!

WS may not be scoring, but they are a very tough defensively. Good luck.
Boy, was I way off. 7-4 Sapp???? what happen there? Watched Columbus defeat PCOV 1-0, quite an uneventful game, but a reason to leave the house.
Sir M. could you give us a run down on how you guys played? I see WV has found the net again with a 3-1 Win.

Sapp 7- Romania 4
Romania had no goalie (a 50 year old by-standard on the team list filled in) and Sapp was up 4-0 in 30 min. As usual we let down and allowed them back into it - sort of. 4-1 at half. Turning the light switch off and on at Sapp is our favorite game; 4-2, 5-2, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4, 7-4, and one of these times we will not be able to do so.
Karm Lidder with his 1st of the millennium - a weak tip in at the near post any real keeper would have had.

Paul Favs with the goat horns: not only did he play the game with his shorts on backwards, but while warming up to go back in in the 2nd half, running around the entire field, he injured himself on a sprint! He's doing this sprint 50 yards, jog 50 yards, sprint 50, jog 50 thing around the field, and "pop!" - bye-bye hammie. It would have been funny if not for the fact that Sapp has lost him for about a month. He's a teacher.

Scilaci, West Van went up 3-0 at the half, Bunny scoring a couple times on some breakaways, Shane Carph with one as well. A bit of a howler near the end made it 3-1. Good result as there was one sub for WV, as this is a team of world travellers this time of year. Notty sent this from his Caribbean cruise...

I believe, based on what I have seen, that I must disagree with WAB (which makes me feel good): SU should qualify for the BCs before Wickham based on what I have seen. PCOV will be on the bubble as well...

I haven't seen SU play my comment about the top 6 was a PT - I just wanted to get a reaction out of Regs. But Regs is too docile and didn't bite. Cagey veteran move, Regs.
