One through four in the final Premier standings are in the BCs (ie: West Van, Columbus, Sapperton and Westside), and the other two spots are up for grabs in this cup.

Just to clarify, Is this different than before ?.... Top 4 VMSL Premier automatic qualification for BC's and League cup finalist also qualify which potentially could open up a spot for 5th and 6th place depending on the top 4 cup play ?

They changed this a year or two ago. Top four are in, and the other two qualify via Cup, including a count back. So if any of the top four reach the semis, 5th place is in. If two of the top four reach the semis, then 6th place is in.

You mean if any of the top 4 reach the FINAL, 5th is in... if the 2 finalists are both in the top 4, 5th AND 6th are in.

It's been this way in this league since I can remember.

Yep, sorry, finals. It didn't used to be that way though...up to 3 or 4 years ago, the top two in league got in, but then it got changed.

SCK you are just on a scoring streak.

But over and above that it looks like Surrey United defeated Columbus 2-1, not completely suprising.

Very good win for BRM tonight.

1-0 at the half for us and it should have been a bit more.

They tied it up fairly early in the second half on a free kick but we regained our lead shortly thereafter.

2 reds had the teams playing 10v10 for the last 30 minutes or so and Columbus REALLY put the pressure on. We bent several times but did not break.

Took me 1.5 hours to get home as I kept making right turns for some reason... thanks Hose
