Dezza is one of those guys that went through that type of training. And every young team he coaches does not boot the ball first than look where. Developing is very difacalt here. Some clubs are changing but there is few youth clubs still kick and running. When the young men gets to senior soccer most of them get chopped due to lack of skill. It is even begininig to show on our Universety teams. And i dam well know it is not due the type of coaching. You got to learn to walk the game first and then work on your upper body strength and foot speed. Kids here hate to swet nuber one and it shows on some clubs. There is few clubs that do have all the conponants. And many kids learn bad habits in high school soccer. We need to step it up to play against the powers around us. The biggest problem lies in youth. Every side should have a youth team. This way kids will get the coaching from soccer players and not city clearks. I heard Burnaby is going to expand the select program to gold and silver just so kids get proper training and can move up the scale and show ther skills. Good on them if they are doing it. First step to posative outcome. That will benefit all the clubs in burnaby. Maybe Cliff ave will win one game a year.

Norvan 0 - 0 Yaletown: Not a bad night for soccer with some drizzle and balmy temperatures for a late November game. Despite the scoreline there were some good chances on both sides. Yaletown had the edge in opportunities on the night but some timely defence and some referee calls that had the whistle not gone presented some challenges for the Norvan keep and back four. The game slowed down in the second half and the quality fell off and some chippiness set in but nothing came of it. Yaletown were a bit stronger and more QT time on the ball in dangerours areas but Norvan defended well and the tie was fair.
Bonefish got 90 minutes in today. The foot is still about 85 percent but with some more running I should be back to my speedy, 2 left-footed self soon.

Fair report there, good to see the JBs get a full squad plus some subs out...... Man of the match had to be the JBs keeper, who made two huge saves in the first half to keep it square. Honourable mention goes to their centre back who cleared one off the line in the second half.

On the ref, it's maddening as a centre back to see offside calls made consistently on one side of the field, but not on the other. Both of the JBs quality breaks in the second half were, in my view, made from offside positions that weren't blow dead. I lost track of how many times it was blown down on the other side on marginal calls, not to say that we would have scored any of them because our finish is terrible these days. Call it tight or let it go, but keep it the same on both sides......

1-0?

It looks like Vatreni caught a break from the VMSL in the abandoned game against PCOV,the score was 1-1 but I guess the VMSL likes the drama thats unfolding in 2b!Im just wondering if NK would have got the same treatment, any opinions on the outcome?

Game was called because of PCOV so outcome is fair. McDirty you're wondering if NK would get the same treatment, why wouldn't they. Are u trying to imply some kind of conspiracy or you just bored?

Two Premier teams were awarded the full three points as well. There has to be consequences for abondoning a game. Now teams know, you act like an idiot and cause a game to be abonded your team will lose three points. Thats the only fair thing to do. And if NK was in the same position they wouldve been awarded the three points as well. We are both Croatian teams they dont like either one of us.

Who is they and why don't they like Hrvat and Vatreni? If you are club in good standing, play good, clean soccer and abide by the rules of the game and good sportsmanship, who is not like you?

BigSexy thinks that they do not like them. If you are one of top teams in your group every one will gun for you. You just have to be smart and go slow and proper. This is better for soccer here. Each group has two teams going hard for that top play off game.
They are all Canadian teams. Well done Mr Azzi.

Temple won 2-0......the old guy Reedie with 2.

Hard Ballz

A game which almost got out of control because of the official letting it.

:(

As Hard Ballz mentioned, Reedie with the pair......decent paced game but the better team won in the end. Unicorns had two good players in the middle of the park.......one in particular(#4) but he should have been sent off several times with the amount of fouls......and the type of fouls at times

Huge WIN then for Temple. With the exception of Westside, they only have the bottom of the table to run through. Unicorns, UBC, Yaletown, and Westside still all have to play each other. Gurps this is your chance to earn your Vegas trip this year and hopefully have both teams celebrating promotion.
