You're damn right I'm bitter wouldn't you be if you lost your first game by two goals, one being an own goal and another being an offside? Also I'm not disagreeing with you about your team being "hot" right now however as far as skill and talented players goes HNK has you beat hands down. I hope you beat them because it would only benefit my team so with that said. Good Luck!

You know, how I know that you are Gay? You think The Royals are hot. :wa:

Damn, that is a cluster f*ck at the top there. Should make for an awesome finish.

The problem is there are only 3 teams in the division. Shaheen, Squamish and UBC are so far ahead of the competition that none of the three should drop any points at all except when they play each other, of course. Squamish lost to bottom-feeders KLM in their first match (not sure how), but other than that, all 3 are perfect against the rest of the division. This is a 3-horse race and its really a shame that nobody else in the division can make games interesting when the big-3 dont play each other.

The Royals get a massive win against HNK and no one has anything to say...?

Everyone's scared. Don't care? Perhaps, or perhaps there's nothing to say when everyone already knows we're the hottest team in div.2

Shame we were still in summer vacation mode for the first 5 games, we should be sitting at the top of our table without a doubt, and fighting the top two teams from A and C for promotion. Either way, not bad for a team coming up from div.3 that apparently 'wouldn't stand a chance in hell of finishing in the top half of the table'

O ya, and a summary of our game against HNK. Domination. Two goals in the first half, HNK with a couple chances but no finish.

2 of the current group leaders came from Div 3 the year before your team did.

So it's not that uncommon to have Division 3 teams ( the ones who just started spot or changed leagues) to do well in Div 2.

How does your current squad compare to the Tuesday night team you guys had in the RRSL this summer?

Settle down Pal, Still lots of games left and things always change after the Holiday Break. As far as your slow start goes..... well that's the difference between good teams and you guys. (I'm sure your whole team and the Ref would agree that you guys dominated HNK)

so lets say squamish and shaheen, and maybe even UBC, we all end up tied at the end of the season on points, since they do not look at goal difference where does the playoff game take place? and as far as the top 3 losing to other teams, there are a few teams that can surprise teh top 3, norwest, maraloma, you never know, Shaheen dodged a loss against Aryana 4-3, being down 3-2 at one point, so anything can still happen; but im just wondering about what would happen if we did tie

If you've read Soccer Mom's earlier posts this year, he isn't even on their Div II team. He plays 2CAT. He is the cheerleader that gives the blow jobs to the Tsawassen players and coaches after the game. His bragging about a few wins in a row seems like a little bit of reflected glory, wouldn't you say?

It doesn't really compare. In the summer we take it easy, don't practice and distribute playing time evenly between everyone. The summer is all about having a good time and some beers after the game in the sun - while it is nice to win, results are a secondary concern. We also have picked up a number of players during the offseason. Which team did you play for in summer? (I'm not sure if we played Tuesday or Thursdays though, whichever was the second division's night).

If by things changing you mean everyone puts on weight and comes back wondering WTF happened over a week off, then yes.
