I heard the Fury were up 1-0 and then one of their players got red carded. I'm not sure but I heard the ref was threatened from the Burnaby players, so he left in the first half!

Army potted one early, a bit against the grain, and held on from there. Scrappy game (on grass), not a lot of great soccer but a decent battle by both teams.

As Stupidkid mentioned, he did forget the cards at home.

The game started with a couple of free-kick opportunities for ICST Peg which came to nothing......then the Olympics started to take over a bit for about 15 minutes creating a couple of decent crosses, which were just missed at the back post. ICSTPeg then scored against the run of play on a great cross and header. 1 - 0 at the half.

The second half had ICSTPeg hit the post/crossbar no less than 4 times and the Bhangra/Peg boys had complete control of the game until about 15 minutes left. ICST Peg started to sit back a bit. Fortunately, the coaches recognized this and decided to play a rather unorthodox 3 left-backs. It seemed to confuse the Olympics, especially since they were having most of their success down their left flank. This help steer the ICSTPeg boys in the right direction and a deserved 3 points. The Olympics have a lot of pace on their team and overall it was an entertaining game of football with plenty of chances. The difference in the game though was definitely the 3 left-backs as the Olympics just couldn't find another level after having to deal with that.
