Solid game by our young Bby Cdn lads. Came out hard and strong in the 1st and made it 3-0 by HT. Game got very chippy, no class to say the least by Shaheen. 5-6 threats, 2 punches, 1 elbow, many yellows, a straight red and a partridge in a pear tree, before the game gets called in the 89th minute by the ref. Playing better soccer, especially when it counts to put ourselves into a "better" situation. Off to the Fury next week to end the season.

Actually the two 2nd to last place teams playoff and the loser is relegated.

As it stands right now that match would be Shaheen vs. Cliff Ave.

Both of which are teams who lost 3 pts due to playing an ineligible... which likely translates to using more than 5 subs in one game. It would certainly suck to have that kind of mis-management result in relegation.

Huge match ups this weekend at Hasting Park!

P Hurricanes vs Cliff Ave
FC Blaze vs Fiji FC

the P Hurricanes should beat Cliff Ave who I personally thought played quite a good tough game vs FC Blaze last Friday night dispite losing 4-1. The P Hurricanes are an extremely talented team and would look good in the Premier next year should FC Blaze fall flat this weekend.

no offence to Fiji FC but the FC Blaze should win this game but you never know till the final whistle. If the Blaze win this one it would mean promotion and a busy summer recruiting players for next season as a move up to the Premier will be tough week in and week out.

All the best...looking forward to watching from my purch high above Hastings park.

Peg Vs. NK Hrvat Friday night

Westside Vs. Club I Saturday

Peg Vs. Shaheen Sunday

Two must win games for us if we want to stay in the battle for promotion and Westsides last game of the season against a very good team in Club I. I just hope they still come out to play after there unlucky result last weekend.

We might have to show up on the sideline with a full cooler for the hoops for some added motivation.

I wouldn't undermine Fiji especially if the weather holds up, however if its cold and pours it's wrapped up for the Blaze

I never realized Club I could just go out and beat someone if they chose to.
Knowing that bit of info it certainly makes no sense why their not still in the hunt for promotion.

I'll admit i underestimated you at the start of the season....think i predicted 5th

IMO Club I is the only team that has out chanced us and probably deserved to win both games. On the the other hand Westside is the only team we haven't beaten this season and they are obviously doing something right as they are the ones we are chasing.
