n/m the TBA is now supposedly a conditional pick (probably has to do with clearing re-entry waivers etc)

Be we need a defenseman badly with mitchells status and bieksa being nowhere near his best form for a while when he does finally come back.
Demitra makes sense to move, but if he doesnt its alright as hopefully he'll keep his form up.

Bernier is a guy that needs a new address more than anything... He would probably slide into a decent role on a bubble playoff team... (See Taylor Pyatt in PHX)

Zimmerman is likely a career AHL plug, hence being traded for the aged Schneider. But he's only 22, so who knows...
Hamhuis will fetch a large ransom the Nucks cannot pay.
They supposedly want Coburn and Parent from Philly for him, and fcuk that... that would be like trading Bieksa and Edler (a year or two ago) for him.

Hamhuis is VERY similar to Bieksa... lots of highs and lows, turnover machines, but tend to be solid overall in their own zone.
Not huge, not fast, makes the odd hard hit.
