Yemii Pics - Swedish Dance Bands

Who was your favorite Swedish Dance Band of the 1970's The Zenits probably would have been my favorite, as with the tartan trim on their jump suits, they might have a bit of Scottish in them. Actually, looking at most of these groups, looks like they've had a whole lot of things in all of them.

Captain, are you sure the "Profilerna" group aren't your fave? And what's with the long freakish arms on the guy in the "Tonny's"?

Sad to say that I didn't see one potential decent looking person (male or female)

Tough choice but I would have to say the Gert Jonny's were were quite magic. Although they still do the odd show or short tour they have not been the same since lead singer Gert Jonny Hansson left the band in 1982. They are now known as the freddy's but not near as good.

This is a little off topic; but I would also like to add Tadeusz Nalepa who is not Swedish but really jump started the the rock and roll scene in Poland. He was magic to see in concert live and I am sure at some time in his carreer played in Sweden or atleast enjoyed some swedish, which will allow me to post about him in this thread.

Not sure why music videos have gone down hill so much since the classics such as this either.. ( Mrs. Sirm looks quite smashing on her bike in this video.)
