Other than golf... throw me a bone on some good things to do in Scottsdale.

Heading there tomorrow for Memorial Day Weekend for a Bachelor Party.

A plan has been set in place but I though I would hit up the TTP crowd for some suggestions on places to go, things to do.

Gun range... check.
Baseball game… check.
Cabana booked for best pool party in AZ… check.
Hockey game (WTF??)… will be buying tix if it goes to game 7.
Miscellaneous other activities not appropriate for a public forum... check.

Concierge has set us up with resos at some good bars and restaurants, but I would appreciate some TTP input as well.

Most of the bars/nightclubs are quite busy on Friday and Saturday, and they are all on North Scottsdale road. There is also a awesome mall right on North Scottsdale road that is large and has a decent food court for some daytime grub.


I am assuming the pool party is at the W? great place to start the day and end your night, more of a "mature" crowd.

Wildfire Golf Club is there and has two courses - A Faldo and a Palmer.

I was there quite a few years ago, (like when my hair was black), but I recall there were about 1000 people there, 700 who were birds, many of which looked like the gal in WAB's avatar but with a cowboy hat.

They had $1 long necks in a huge galvanized steel tub on ice.

I was stylin' in my levi's pink Lacoste golf shirt under a navy blue v-neck pull-over and deck shoes with no socks...

And the Coors Light Rodeo girls were there.

Scottsdale is incredible.

Hotel Valley Ho pool party is fantastic. Great DJ... fantastic people. Coronas are $3. Domestics are $2.50.
W Hotel is great for dinner and drinks.
Old town has some great little trendy bars... and some dirty Roxy style dives (my kind of place).

The plastic surgeons in that town are very busy, btw.

Helluva 3 day weekend away for about $1000 each including airfare, accomodations, and entertainment (no golf though).

I didnt go to Denim and Diamonds, Sir M... they have jacked the long neck prices up to $1.50!

I have a pal who's father was a plastic surgeon in Phoenix, specializing in breast augmentation, and he was good and charged a lot; women came from all over to have work done by him. As a wedding present for his new daughter in law, he did a full on breast augmentation for her. And then, even though he has no experience in this area, one day while visiting his son and the new bride, he noticed that his son was getting a bit thin on top. So at the kitchen table while reading out of a textbook he sewed in hair plugs on his son's scalp.
