And you'll notice the grim reaper is a Tim. Not a surprise that miserable cnut is shoulder to shoulder with you.

Honestly, you're getting worse and once again more angry by the post, why the mood swings? hmmmmmmm......Todd, you're a great guy and don't let anyone tell you different.

I will concur with most of the sentiment on here...not a very entertaining game for sure.
Went down to RSC #1, good crowd in there...I guess the 5:30 over 4:30 helps...

Was Baffled at the first 30 minutes of the Gers belting the baw up the park to JCD over the 5 player midfields heads...why play 5 there if your not gannae let em play with it...?

anyways...once Thommo scored I knew it was over, with the Rangers "non-signing of the year" Scott Brown bottling two chances you knew the air escaped the Septic lungs once Thommo and Darcheville played that beauty through and then through Borats legs... :D :D :D :D

Chesney is at the exact spot McLeish was at before he eixted Ibrox...some good results, but not enough to appease everyone.

With the amount of cash Celtic have spent vs Gers the last two or three years they should be able to compete and show better....

Once Gingerbaws finds his way out of Walters hip pocket he should be able to see a pink slip on his desk.

Walter vs Gordon...Priceless...Strachan has not won an OF game against Walter Smith, and Smith has lost 7 OF games of the 35+ Played during his career as Rangers manager.

More good news from the BBC for Rangers fans. Thommo has been given the O.K. for the Uefa game, after it was determined that he did not badly injure himself when diving in the second half.

"The midfielder was carried off on 77 minutes after his clash with Samaras, when he appeared to fall before the Celtic striker had made any contact."

"I've had a look at the incident again on TV and I can see why people are saying I was trying to win a foul. But that's not cheating. "

He did not dive...He knocked the ball past the flat footed Samaras, but probably knocked it a little too long, his left leg on the next step then slammed (on purpose into Samaras, who was still flat footed...) Thommo hurt himself...trying to draw a foul... he did not dive, he may have intended to collide with Samaras, but I wouldn't call that a dive as much as I would a foul, which Stuart Dougall gave to Samaras if memory serves.

and he definately did not start to fall before contact, he hit hard, then went down hard.

I suppose I will have to take your word over the people at BBC. I much prefer the lads at the Scotsman. There play by play had it this way.

73-76 min: On the right-hand edge of the Celtic box, Thomson dives past Samaras in an attempt to win a penalty. He was going down even before he reached Samaras's trailing leg! Which is not only saucy, but a bit stupid, because he would have been in acres in the Celtic area and could have had a pop on goal. Not only that, he appears to have injured himself in the process - perhaps seriously - and is whisked off on a stretcher

Well they are wrong...he was far from Whisked, I believe he was down at least 3 or 4 minutes, which probably pissed off a lot of Septics supporters who believe that Dougal is a Proddy Orange Mason who had no desire to show Thommo a second yellow and a subsequent red...

I believe Naylor was right there, and although he is terrible, he probably would have found his way to the ball before Thommo and therefore would have broken up any shot on goal...

try looking for a you tube replay, i am at work and the damn web filter blocks youtube...

How is it that he dives before he hits Samaras, yet needs to be stretchered off, the physics don't work...

Thomson: I did not set out to deceive the ref

From The Edinburgh evening news.

RANGERS midfielder Kevin Thomson has defended himself against accusations of cheating following the Old Firm derby.

Thomson, who got the only goal of the game just before half-time at Ibrox on Saturday, was later substituted after injuring his left leg in an incident involving Celtic's Georgios Samaras.

The former Hibs captain appeared to begin his fall before any contact with Samaras had been made on the edge of the Celtic penalty area.

Clearly, the video concludes that Thompson's left leg had a bad bout of Tourette's. And Boruc is monumental cnut.

Imagine that........:rolleye:

As for the **** diving, he did to earn Naylor a yellow card and he did when he 'hurt' himself. He tried to initiate contact as he was 'falling/diving'. The **** deserves what he gets an Boruc had EVERY right to have a go at him. Of course, Boruc gets the card and the diving **** doesn't. **** him.

On a more positive note, rumour has it Strachan is about to be sacked......Tony Mowbray will be in to replace him........watch this space over the next week.

Fantastic. Hopefully, he doesnt bring that West Brom squad with him. Compared to Celtc's current squad, they might pose a challenge for the league.

But than again,

WE WELCOME THE CHASE

Get it right round ya, Captain!

One of the other stories on Thomson after the xrays were all cleared - he went out that night to a bday party for his buddy stephen fletcher's 21st that night - private party - some thugs crashed the party, and as they were being escorted out, one spotted Thomson and tossed a pint glass at him - it glanced off the guy in front, struck him in the head - luckily he was not cut......and the xrays were all clear on his head after as well.;)

See you on thursday for Lisbon match Thommo.

Thomson Suspended for five games.

Rangers goal hero from the weekend has received a lengthy ban after the SFA reviewed video. SFA spokesman Drew Herbertson has confirmed that the allegations of simulation put forward by Celtic F.C. were being dealt with and the match ban was effective immediately.

A Celtic spokesman said: "We never felt that there was any doubt and we welcome this action by the league."

A Rangers spokesman declined comment until the club has a chance to review the action.

MY SPORT DEBATE
An apology from the media would be expected, though probably not in all reality forthcoming.
