they'll move Nylander for a D man and figure they've fixed it... in reality, they should be blowing up the core... two of them have no move clauses that kick in July 1, and Matthews and Nylander are both up after next year anyway... can't risk Matthews relying on his NMC and then leaving for nothing.

they should be letting analytic boy walk... four creampuff ballerinas, one legit D man, and zero goalies. and they actually thought they had a shot this year. they barely got by the ghost of Lightnings past, and got annihilated by Florida. closer than they've been in two decades... but still not remotely close.

problem for Toronto fans is that they sell out the joint no matter what, so the urgency isn't felt in the suits the way it might be in other markets.
