Ladies last choice, don't you mean "At closing time I will have to choose which one I eventually will be escorting back to the hottub"???
Silly Buckfast always confusing himself with others!!!
The guys wanting a piece of the action in Kamloops has reached staggering numbers.
24 guys have expressed solid interest in going, but 4 cannot play cause of injury. No one is being turned away, hopefully we can book another room or two.
Now that the Best tourney of the year is behind us, it is time to prepare and focus on the year's best piss fest!!!
Who shall be doing the walk of shame at 7am back to the motel???
Who will fall off a nightclub speaker and tear their ACL???
Who will shut down the beer gardens each night???
What will be the best dress attire for the weekend???
Who will be seen as the "Guy who takes one for the team" and shaggs a large bird???
I know this is moot, but who will win the men's open & competitive division(s)???
What will Johnny Brown's kit be like???
Beanbag for sure!!!
This year it is the other Brown's turn to "tear it up"
Jinky & Guinness respectively
Robes???
Fastshow, but unfortunately he won't be there so Cainy will win!!!
Sportstown (because they don't drink) & Delta (because we do)
For some reason the colour pink comes to mind!!!
Off to K-Town in 20 mins... Just thought I'd do one final post before entering the state of oblivian!!! Beer Garden, bevies and footy, what else can a lad ask for??? Oh yeh and wenches serving up the pints in the garden!!!
Brazilian beach, Cabana, potent umbrella drinks, and your 5 nearly naked Brazilian girlfriends bringing you drinks and who knows what else and all day long. Beach soccer matches out front.
Prime Rib every night for dinner.
To always be able to reach into your pocket and pull out a $100.00 bill.
Croatian servants.
Strong deodorant for Croatian servants.
Second home in the Swiss Alps, where my 5 camisole clad Swiss girlfriends bring me hot totties and God knows what else all night long.
And this is just to start...
(Be sure to come back with some great stories from the biggest piss-up the August long weekend will ever see.)
Any stories/results from Kamloops, Parkhead/Jinky/anyone else who went up? Most importantly, how was the dance this year? Was the quality up to snuff? I want to know that I missed something special this year, to help try and force me to go up next year again......
Quality & Quantity are two very important issues... Both were on display nicely at the dance... I'm sure of it, if only I could remember all of it!!!
The weather was magic!!! Didn't get hotter than 23 (although a wee bit of sun felt like fcukin 50 after three hours sleep)... I can't really remember our matches vs Richmond United or Pocomo (someone told me we out scored them 10-1 on aggrigate)
Maybe Parkhead or Jinky can give a report???
Animal any reason why a few young lads from Delta and a few older lads from Surrey can drink as much as you lot and still play the game???
All in all another quality weekend had by all (except young Dave's jail term)!!! Oh and those pesky RCMP officers that kept showing up at our hotel!!! They just couldn't let us party in peace!!!
OK, we all know the winners of this tourney were the ones who spent the most time in the beer gardens and also (somehow) managed to stay out of the free night accomidations at the local Peace Station!!!
But...
Mens, Competitive division was UCC (fcuking hosts never go out and party)
Womens, Competitive was Surrey United (as if it wasn't a formality from the get go)
Womens/Mens Open and Rec. Divisions were all too drunk to play on Monday!!!
whooooooooo is really all there is to say.Great tourney lots of drinking and a little bit of soccer.Only bad part of weekend was beanbag didn't get a chance to make his return after fracturing his arm after a wwe match. To richmond what the fcuk you could keep up with the drinking but not the footy. Pocomo well I think they were there to play us. To the delta lads and surrey lads thanks for a great weekend and we really should have won the tourney if only we could score pk's. To the travel lodge thanks for the extra 100. dollar charge. And to the loop police dept. you really need to relax (burnsy night in jail and kurt 150 dollar fine and thanks to the chick cop for not throwing gnu in jail)
I have to admit that us RUFC lads did not show up to play this weekend on the pitch, you are right, but we did our fair damage in the gardens, clubs and dance !!
I personally had a great time and took full advantage of all that the 'loops has to offer, that is if JJ's, MacArthur and the K&A is all there is, that's all I needed. As for the footy, well, we stunk, I have to admit that, I guess i'm getting to old to drink and play, maybe I should take up 'tending hey Gnu ?!?!?
Well Captain, took me a couple of days to sober up. The only thing worse than the Richmond mobs performance was ours. We were absolutely shocking, to say the least. The only bright spot was Smally picking the ball up and asking the guy if he wanted it back after megging him. Probably could have scored but that just made it better. No card either. Once again the shirts Jinky made were huge hits, classic one's i might say. But Captain you definetly missed another amazin dance and the ladies did not disapoint.
On a side note Mr. Nadu's Pocomo life I believe has come to an end. Jinky and the rest of the executive commitee i believe have revoked his membership on grounds of failure to appear after saying he would be there. Ask Jinky for more details on this?
As for some other stories, you will just have to hear them in person.
Great fun overall once again. Spurs once again won the wRecked division Drinking Title and pushed hard for the overall, only to come up short with empty wallets, because Der Spic and some of the boys forgot to stock up at the bank machine beforehand, and because Kim hadn't had enough practice before the boat races.
Some finagling of the rules on goal difference kept us from enjoying further fun on Monday (3 way tie for first in our group) so we amused ourselves with extremely loud buffalo club pursuits(despite some folks catching on that Koko and I were deliberately drinking right-handed after the first 8 beers) and the occasional funstick. Afterwards, back to the hotel and some cliff soccer and more beers and party sticks, so that all involved were thoroughly looped even before the dance started. Only a few lived to tell the tale...
What we do know is that Der Spic ended up taking a 4 hour walk from the dance to the hotel; he apparently got lost between the can and the table at the dance, and thought everyone else had gone on him. Somebody found him on the freeway heading west, and pointed him back in the right direction.
Kudos to the Pokes design team once again; great job on the shirts. You guys could probably make extra coin selling them.
Jinky, sorry I didn't get to talk to you. Vinny was trying to introduce us, but you were deeply engrossed in conversation, and we got quickly sidetracked by some of the more enticing local scenery. Gotta love the long weekend in Kamloops! Next time we bring the digital and post pix.
On to Victoria for Labour Day (Castaways' Tourney)
