That is one fcuked up story, yikes!
This reminds me of when we played West Van in the BC's at Confederation about 8 years ago. Sir M had a devious plan to save Celebrini for the second half so he could run like a deer by our tired defense. Albeit, he didn't take a straight red, but I think he did get his second yellow within 2 minutes.
Wow Freddy you do have a good memory (and perhaps a bit too much time on your hands). I forgot about that...probably a Freudian thing. I think it was at Kinsmen though?
Yes, Kinsmen it was. Sorry to bring it up.
I thought I was past that...thanks a lot...
Not a bad Canadian player at all!
Sad news out of Cairo
Winter World Cup???
I wonder how many games he'll get for that??
That's two yellow card infractions in the summer MSA
With some of the refs we have I'm surprised that doesn't happen in the FVSL
We have standardize gun control in the FVSL
Interesting article in the New York times about compensation for the FIFA executive council. These are part time positions but each person, including someone from BC, gets paid $250,000 per year by FIFA and also gets paid per diems for each meeting and gets hotel and flights paid for.
Not sure what to make of this story and whether this will end FIFA's long tradition of corruption and greed..
Good read, thanks.
I talked to Vic and he donates the $250K to the Kevan Pipe Foundation.
It just won't stop. But in these days of the new Space Force, this seems trivial. John Oliver - time to do another piece on FIFA.
