WAB ............ you should feel much shame. What example are you showing the young folks these days???? I am sure the whole community of New West is wondering if you should be allowed to represent the Community in the annual 'Mugs And Jugs Days' during the upcoming Long Weekend. You might get bumped down from Parade Marshall to running the Queens Park hot dog stand.

Surrey United are very fit and play a sound system. We played a little too defensive today and couldn't get a good attack going at all. They scored in the 7th or 8th minute on a very questionable goal. We all pushed out for an offside on or 18 and according to the linesmen, number 6 kept their forward onside but we didn't have a number 6 in the game in the first half. Nonetheless, 1-0. We kept the game tight and didn't give them much except for long range shots that rarely hit the net. In the last 15 minutes we had to push for a goal and then they started to generate a few decent scoring chances. A few fast breaks that our goalie did well on and they hit the crossbar once. In the last minute of the game they scored their 2nd to seal the game. It was nice to get some premier competition this week to see what we will be facing next year.
Hoping for some luck in the provincial cup draw.

Sapp 0 - West Van 6
Scary thing is that we played way better this time than our last 6-0 showing and at times looked like a threat.
They are just too damn good. At least we compete with the other teams. WestVan is fast, physical, good in the air, and very skilled - great first touch all-around. Granted they scored just crackers all night and that will be tough to do again; but so what, 3 or 4 buzz would have still been the result.
Non-the-less, a great run for Sapp, and really a tough bounce back from an emotional high last week. We are in the BC's and will pray that WestVan is on the other side. Very proud of the Sapp boys!
Cup Final
I think Surrey just plays to the level of their opponent, so the dream final will be a very close competetive affair. Although I rank WestVan the best in the league - the province - and probably Canada (if they get to play a full 90 minute match), Surrey can get up for one game better than anyone.
Prediction
2-1 SU in PKs
WestVan will win everything else.
