Langley got a red card in the 30th minute and eventually ran out of steam in the 2nd half. Both teams had chances. Westcoast's second goal went off the shin of an offside player and deflected in. Good effort by Westcoast though.

Unbelievable backheel. Looked like a young Zlatan out there. The Huntelaar 'drop kick the corner flag' celebration was totally merrited

Just watched the Aldergrove vs Abby game. The game ended 2-2 which is good for us and the other teams in the top 6.

However as good as the result is for us, the reffing tonight was shocking. Abby did tie the game up on a rightfully called pk, but they should have had another two called in their favour if not three. Along with that an Abby player was clean through on goal in injury time of the 2nd, and was clearly tripped with the aldy player having no intent of playing the ball. Nothing called, not even a foul.

There also seems to be a solid trend of horrible decisions costing teams big games. Langley for example last week against us, like @UnderYourSkin said the 2nd goal of ours all ttp'ing aside was offside.

Does this really shock you? It didn't just start this year, we've been complaining for years about this issue and labelled whiners. We've just made a conscious effort to shut up and deal with it the best we can. Some games it's good some games you think you may implode holding in the need to go ballistic.

This issues is across all leagues and all ages in BC (probably Canada). Ref support and development is not taken seriously. Seems that leagues/associations assume refs are always good/correct and coaches/teams that complain dont' know what they are talking about. Leagues/associations are afraid refs will quit if they are required to meet standards and receive constructive feedback/criticism. I say "good, let them quit." If clubs/leagues don't have enough refs this hurts the kids cuz games won't happen, but at some point it will correct itself and we'll all be better for it.

never had that ref from last night, and he was clearly not the right guy to be in the middle when we had a guy running the line who has done many games in fvsl. however the ref didn't cost us that game as much as our lack of finishing, once again missing chance after chance all game long. isn't there a gimme rule in soccer like golf?

NDSC 3-0 West Coast

score pretty well depicts the game, we ran them over in the middle of the park again and won handily.

Why does ND seem to ease by Westcoast but struggle to get more then 1 point against the other top 3-4.

We (westcoast) due to various conflicts were forced to play a 15 year old keeper who struggled allowing goals in the first and last minutes of the first half that our regular keeper would've claimed pretty effortlessly. That being said we struggled to get anything going offensively, ND has definitely had our number this year.

15 years old? Surely West Coast has some 17-21 year old GK somewhere in the club. You have a tonne of teams. That said he didn't help ND keep a clean sheet.

Inter had a game at 8, and westcoast united had one at 4. He's the u21 keeper, and I guess it's just how it falls.

Anyways he's not the reason we lost though, delta were simply much better again. And like @bulljive said they bossed the middle of the park. Also everytime we got the ball they organized themselves very well and limited us to minimal chances.

Not sure how they've even lost a game this year tbh.

Doesn't that goalie also play for the under 18's lol. At least he's getting in lots of games and experience.
