Poco 2 v PAU 1

Like usual a very good game between us. We opened the scoring with a great goal from a cross that TK headed home and held that score to the half. We came out strong and were rewarded with our second about 15 mins in on a breakaway. I think we stepped off the gas and let PAU in the game after that. Evans was left alone at the top of the box and he doesnt miss from there... 2-1. Both teams had a few chances after that with a PAU player missing an easy header late. Were happy with the result as they seemed to have our number in the past.

Was training last night beside this game. Aldergrove were up 2-Nil from what I could see about 10 min into the second half.Acbc scored to make it a 1 goal game a few minutes later and then from my angle they tied it up on a goal that the Aldergrove keeper would definately want back. Freekick from outside the 18 that was hit directly at the keeper on the ground which he then proceeded to paddle onto an ACBC players foot 2 yards off the goal line which he easily tapped in for the tying goal. From there the floodgates opened.

there propably has been no more than 10 born & raised IRISHMEN on that team in the last 20 years

for clarity:
- there is no more club ireland... it is richmond FC (combination of club i and richmond united). we are a region-based, not ethnic-based team.
- our premier team is mid-table, and our div 1 team is at the top of the log, so things seem to be going ok right now.
- i know nothing about any bailouts
- captain is no longer on the board or richmond FC, nor is he coaching any of our teams (mens nor womens), although we hope that both of the above could change.
- isnt this a FVSL thread?

A hard result. up 3-1 late and defended like mad for the last 15. Venny with an excellent goal late to give the PAU coaching staff a heart condition.

GEU 1 Langley 2

GEU came out flat and gave up 2 in the first 15 (one a dodgy PK call, second was a nice finish). After that it was one way traffic for GEU, got one back early the second, and just couldnt find the equalizer. The result is the only thing that counts so not gonna say too much more.

I thought it was a pretty even game with both teams getting chances that were thrown away.

We got lucky late and they should have got a PK that the ref just shook his head at and then we hit the bar with 2 minutes left.

Both teams played a solid game.
