Well it's my first post this season just got caught up but by the sounds of things I had better make sure my grammer is correct or I'll get blasted on here. The one thing that I find pretty interesting is all the teams that are taking the piss out of everyone are in Div 2A. The only problem is that the Rippers are in the number 1 spot and are here to stay. I don't know how FVSL executives came up with three groups for Div 2, I find that kind of weak. Each team should play all nine teams in their group once then the league should take the top three clubs from group A,B,& C and made Div 2A the promotion group. That way all the top clubs in Div 2 get a chance to play each other and the best two clubs advance. I know there was alot of whinning about only playing teams once last year but you have to bring your A game every sunday, and bad rivalry's spell injuries, trust me this is coming from a hockey-style playing soccer player myself. It hurts your team alot to have your best player not in the line-up, we should understand that the most we have the best player in this division, but if you can't win without one or two good guys gone then you dead in Div 1 or Div 2 anyways.

Well it is nice to see some intelligent comments and suggestions actually being put on this site. I like the idea of the three groups being split into geographical areas, but i am not complaining being that we have another delta team, surrey, white rock, and tsawassen all in our group. although spliting the season at the mid point is kind of cut throat because you could be 3 or 4 points out of first place but lying in fourth in your group but you would not get to advance to challenge for the division. rivalries are a good thing, but if it takes you to injuring people on purpose then you shouldn't even be playing. Its my favourite when people take this site to heart i went out in a few games last year were people were trying to injury me because of comments on this site its ttp and is just for laughs. Injuries happen it sucks especially when its the best players on your team but going in on cheap tackles is bush league I know its div 2 and refs don't even give out cards for bad takcles but we are the ones that have to control our own play. Anyway delta Fc to win by a 2 0r 3 goal margin this weekend

The league had a Div 2 east /west split along geographic lines years ago. the south side of thr river teams from langley to Delta all played in west side. and everyone else played in the east side. Worked out well but i they went away from that for some reason.
