Div 2 [FVSL] Div 2 Pre Season Rumblings

Celtic no, but the Knights picked up a premier player from last year, and another solid CM in JJ.

Talked to a few prem guys last night after practice, sounds like the Knights are getting that 3rd signing, just crushing the transfer market this summer. Anything less than top 3 would be a shock.

Knights qualifying for team must have:
1) taller than 6'2
2) Over 200 pounds
3) Played a previous physical sport such as rugby/ football/ boxing/ MMA

No need to worry about the size on these ones, 1 is about 6'2 but not a monster, skilled smart on the ball. Other guys are 5"7 and 5"10 both very fast.

The first season they used it for North Fraser the boys kits were cut like girls jerseys with deep v necks and silly little sleeves, and its hardly improved since. Seems like a bit of conflict of interest if you ask me but not involved in those politics so whatever.

It's legit. Between some long term injuries and some players moving to other teams, we didn't feel we'd be able to field a competitive team for Div 2. It's disappointing, but we all agreed that this was the best way to go given our situation.

What's everyone's home time slot here in D 2 ? Would be nice to see what days the majority of games will be played on ...

Ours is 4 pm, Saturday, Abby senior turf ( with change rooms )

bye week sounds good. Glad delta did it now rather then later - i.e. coquitlam last year, what a huge steaming pile that was.

looking forward to a competitive season . Except for lady sparta, every game looks to be a battle.

ND Boys down to div.3. Will anyone be replacing them or staying with Bye week? No easy games at all this year, I mean if you look at it from last years standings Milan and Vault are the two weakest teams left and we finished mid pack....
