We have another team in Div. 1 which we can't draw from, and a premier team which we can't draw from. We did not poach players from any teams in our club. We ran an ad on the website and got 3 new players.

I don't think they are affiliated.....but I will go on record to say this team will be right back to div 2 the following year.

They fall under the Port Moody soccer club. with the Gunners, Magpies, and Rush

not sure of the other div 1 squad, but apparently premier has called up (down?) a masters player at least once... but that bit them in the ass...

last year we called up a youth player (u17 i think) and a couple of master's players for our last div 2 game... we were going to be pretty short - ended up with one sub with call-ups... but otherwise, haven't needed the system...

yoda is just bitter we beat them... on our own...

We sucked. Ugly, brutal, nasty arse soccer. Worst game of the year. Missing our top goal scorer and sweeper and winger but whatever, we were just bad.

We came out of the first half tied 0 - 0, which was awesome I thought because we were playing against some crazy wind the whole half, but North delta offered up some sacrifice to the weather gods at halftime and the weather died down. We got beat twice down the right side, one goal against was most definitely offside, but we did not deserve to win this game at all.

To top off the night, when we got back to the changing room we find out the door has locked automatically. North Delta was smart enough to put a rock in the way to stop their door from shutting, but we didn't get the memo. So we're locked out, some guys have their bags and keys in there, but worst of all we can't get at our precious beer! We got on the phone and it took almost 2 hours but someone from the city came and let us in.

Thanks to ND for sharing some of their beer in the meantime.

Rangers 3 - Aldergrove Utd 0

Another 3 points for the Ranger train. Big contributions from the call-ups Greggy, Halvy (goal) and Billy Jackson. Waggy-stein got the opener ... Z played like 4 positions throughout the match, scoring a goal and nearly setting up Billy for another. Halvy with the 3rd tally to clinch.

Aldy is a young team, need some composure but could be better in a couple of years with some guidance. Good luck rest of the way lads.

yea terrible pK at that kciked it at the guys arm as he was runing to it, they had a few chances to get it at 2-1 for them but Keeper made nice save to keep the score 1-1 then we made it 2-1. big 3 points we needed them tonight, but def though that team should have more points then they had they had solid mid, and couple fast forwards but there d was letting them down tonight.
