it's a bit different if you're effecting a lawful arrest after having just been assaulted by a civilian... bouncer wasn't arresting anyone so he's down to "fair fight" or "self-defense" for justifications... might be ok, might not...
I was relying on what reccos had said... if that was just "crowd control" then yeah, that's obviously over the line...I saw the video preceding the police take down. There was no bottle thrown. It was a beer shower from an open plastic cup.
