Just back from Community Shield. What an atmosphere. Don't care much for either team but a great show nevertheless. Scholes, Hernandez, Berbatov and Van der Sar were superb. Thought Chelsea a bit unlucky as they carried the play but fell asleep on the first goal. Was in the Chelsea section Long side 4th row, not behind the Chelsea bench...sorry Regs. 85 thousand plus singing God Save the Queen was something else. A few pics.

Thanks for the support, but not necessary. I feel for the guy. An Italian supporter...lives in Cloverdale... poor bastard. I just can't have a go at that. Wouldn't be fair, that, would it?

Yeah, yeah... Mum's English(Yorkshire...near Leeds which is the club I follow in England). Even bought an England hat and scarf for a quick picture at Wembley to send mum, then promptly gave away both when I got home. They don't mix with my collection of Orange. Granted, you may be of a different opinion regarding God Save the Queen, but it was good stuff. Did not get to Ireland but in Scotland saw some t-shirts you'd like. Front said "I support Scotland" Back said " and anyone who plays England"

Good stuff, Bigun. I forgot your Mum was from England. Are you ever going to be coming down here again soon? Are you still living off of my hard earned money and making trips down here staying at the 4 Seasons?

Down a fair bit actually, though sadly, not on the TF dime anymore. Those were good days. I'm at district office so it involves a fair but of travel but much of that has been reeled in due to the fiscal conditions many districts are experincing. Actually had dinner with Regs and family before we flew over to the UK.

I'm sure this might get axed for not being Community Shield content
