TBH I've never really been a Corey Perry fan.
I mean good player but something about him always resembled a weasel like presence to me.

If nothing criminal then I'm surprised the hawks were able to just terminate him like this. Any legal recourse from Perry?

he's got 60 days to file a grievance... the devil is in the detail of the contracts... could be anything from generic wording about bringing the club into disrepute, all the way to specific "don't bang the help" wording, and anything in between...

Can't help but blame the NHL for all the rumors. The Social media vigilante vultures have been lying in wait for the Blackhawks to screw up again. Had the NHL not handled things different and issued some sort of punishment for past issues perhaps this doesn't get to where we are now?
