we lost 6 guys in a week due to injury, surgery, cards, vacation , work....ect

no team enters the tournament with intentions on forfeiting.... shite happens..... and the team still has to pay the 35$ which is fair enough.

If you have a full healthy team with a bench in Feb you are lucky...

How is cancelling cause you don't have enough guys a good enough excuse? We was on our way to John Oliver on friday with 11 guys including 2 keepers, game cancelled to rain, fair enough. Game moved to Sunday, we have a full team, they say they can't field a team so game must be pushed back further, BS if you ask me. It's not our fault they can't field a team and if the game is played tuesday it would be nice to know so people can make plans.

Hey, ND Alumni Master D1 was short guys and came out last night with 9 or 10 guys and played tough... not showing up is not an excuse. Go out with 7 or 8 and take your lumps.

Hurricane...its easy to see what happened here. Surrey dumped all of their talent to their div 2 team, so that they would have a chance to actually win something. <high hopes> No surprises with that scoreline at all.

I agree with JBN here. Just because you can't field a full 11 to start, doesn't mean you forfeit/cancel, or don't show. If you have enough to field the minimum you do it.

It's not about fielding only the best team you've got, it's about fielding whatever you can sometimes. Sucks but that's soccer.

they had enough guys, our div 2 guys and div 3 temple guys have been weekly call ups for the akal team through league play, with bradner cup and no callups they played with what they have. i heard poco scored a lucky one and then akal got two reds? and generated chances with 9 guys but were unlucky not to find the back of the net. as they were pushing the rockets scored their remaining goals in the final 15 minutes.

keep a big squad and you'll always have 11 or sign 18 super committed guys and you'll never have a problem.
